As a writer and photographer, I love things that bind paper and prints together. It's a sick fascination, for which I've been teased mercilessly, but it's true. I first learned about the Circa/Rollabind system while learning everything I could about David Allen's "Getting Things Done" methodology. I love innovative new office supplies, so I couldn't wait to check out this new notebook system that was supposedly making life easier.
My first encounter with the product was via the Levenger web site, which offered a "starter kit" for a fairly reasonable cost. I also stopped by a Levenger store (luckily we have one in the city) and discovered they were offering a free Circa notebook if you asked for a demo. review »I looked around for different types of binding systems for my home office and saw systems that started under $100 to over $1000. The systems under $100 all had the convenience of binding different sizes of paper and thickness, but the Rollabind System had everything I was looking for. The full size punch is a solid durable product. I recommend that you spend the extra money for the full size rather than the portable type. The binding discs were far less expensive than the other systems' discs.
