I absolutely adore my Roku box. It has an enormous amount of things to choose from with something for the entire family. I love that there is a channel store to go to but also can set up a password so no accidental purchases are made. Ease of Use My 6 year old daughter has figured it out all on her own.

I received a Roku HD for Christmas and am very happy with it. Before I was using a Sony Blue-Ray player to connect to the internet and stream netflix, and found it to be incredibly glitchy and slow. The Roku streams seamlessly and has a crisp picture. Picture Quality I know that Netflix has HD programs, and the Roku definitely streams everything in HD. Sometimes the picture may start off a little "fuzzy" but in about 5-10 seconds it's very crisp and clear. Ease of Use Incredibly easy to set up and use. All I did was plug the AV cables into the back of my tv, the power cable into the Roku and it was connected just like that. I did have to go online, create an account, and register my Roku, but I was walked through by the Roku. It was very easy to follow the steps. Reliability I've had the Roku HD for a little more than a month now and it has worked great every time I turn it on. It's experienced maybe one or two hiccups, but I feel as though that may have been my wireless service acting up more so than the actual Roku. Compatibility I have a flat screen HD TV and it connected to it right away.

This was one of the first streaming devices I've ever seen. It lets you stream content from apps like Hulu, Netflix and a few others. It also lets you put things on it from your computer like movies, tv and music. Its a pretty innovative product. I also have a google chrome and prefer that since its smaller company and can take it anywhere. I'm sure Roku will upgrade to something similar if they didn't yet. I also recommend Google Chrome over this for its easy but more sophisticated user interface. Picture Quality Pretty good, sometimes it lags though even when internet is fast across all other devices. Ease of Use Pretty easy, the remote can be kind of pointless, I wish there was a phone app like the chromecast but I guess having a remote is helpful sometimes. Reliability Pretty good, i used to carry this around as a travel media device and it worked great at just about everywhere. Compatibility Good compatibility, I never had to do much to get it to work. Its pretty much plug and play if your at all tech savvy.

I love my little roku box! We have only one video game console that can play tv shows and what not, but more than one tv. I decided to get a roku for my room! With this, you have access to all kinds of television and movies subscription services. I have had this for a little bit over one year now, and I haven't had a problem so far. Other than losing the remote... It always works really well, fast start up, loads movies and shows quickly, and has HD quality pictures. I really recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a tv/gaming console to watch television shows or movies on, or to someone who doesn't like watching on a computer. Ease of Use It's very simple to set up and use. I'm not really all that tech savvy, but I had no problems. Reliability This little box always works for me, like I said, I haven't had any problems other than losing the remote (a lot). I really like this because it always works and it just seems to be a perfect fit for me!

We bought this as a Christmas gift to ourselves and absolutely love it. We did have to buy a second one because there were some problems with the power pack on the first, but we had no trouble getting it replaced and have had no trouble with the second. It's a great product for the price and it helps us get the full value for our Netflix and Hulu Plus accounts. Picture Quality Picture is usually great. Once in a great while it gets a little grainy if my Internet connection slows down. Ease of Use Took a second to set up, but then it was smooth sailing. It's a little annoying to use a remote to slowly type out your searches, but I read there's an app that makes that easier, though I haven't used it,

I love my ROKU. It has allowed me to cut the cable bill and has payed for itself. There are a lot of apps on it and you can stay busy with free content for hours. The one thing that is necessary, is that you need fast internet to be able to watch your videos. I try and tell everyone I know to get a roku.

While this certainly does not have some of the features of its more expensive siblings, it does an outstanding job for the cost. Beware that there are some Netflix features that are not supported, and the output will only reach 720p, however if you have an older or smaller TV, this may be perfect for you. Picture Quality Picture quality is very good, but again, maxes out at 720p Ease of Use My 7 year old daughter has zero issues using this, and was able to figure it out with almost no instruction from me at all. The remote is very simplistic and should be a snap to learn, whether you are a 7 year old or a 70 year old. In fact, this would be a great device to set up to stream pictures/video for someone who is not technologically advanced. That being said, you will want someone who IS fairly advanced technologically to actually set some things up, such as the free program/app myPlex to allow the streaming of home videos and pictures to the Roku. Reliability Has worked like a champ with no issues so far. It is always on (it goes to sleep with prolonged lack of use), and is a closed system that contains no buttons, so would seem to be less prone to hardware issues than a standard set-top box. However, because of this if the remote were to be lost or broken, you would have to buy a new remote for it, as because of the design there is utterly no way to operate the machine via the box itself. Compatibility With both component (Red/White/Yellow) and HDMI inputs, you should be set with any new or old television with this!

The roku hd is a great product, especially for its price. I love that is small and light weight. I can basically bring it with me when im on vacation, wherever there's wifi. I also like that you have two options to connect the roku to the tv. When i first got it there wasn't that many great channels but now they are improving and adding new channels. I saved a lot of money with this product. If you pay for a monthly subscription of hbo, you can link it to the roku. Best thing is I can use netflix and red box. I also use it to listen to music on pandora. I am also definitely going to buy the roku 2 because it added new features. I highly recommend this product. Picture Quality The picture quality is great but i think it all depends on what type of tv you have. If you want a good quality, use an hdmi cable to connect it to the tv. Ease of Use The roku is so easy to use and i love that is simple to set up. The whole point of the roku is to make viewing movies and music easily.

We typically watch streaming content through our game consoles. There is a game console in the living room and one in my child's room. I was always unable to watch streaming content in our master bedroom unless I hooker our laptop up to it with an HDMI cable. That was always a hassle and I could not simply lay in bed and watch shows or movies without having to get up each time to load up another program. Now that we have a Roku box, I can watch steaming content in bed and be as lazy as I want to be because it comes with a remote. The visual quality is amazing! It is truly HD! I watch Netflix and Hulu as the paid subscription streaming services, but there are several free Roku channels that I watch fairly often. We sometimes have to make sure that the Roku box is unplugged from our internet when we are not using it. I don't know why, but it seems that sometimes it is sucking up so much of our bandwidth that it negatively affects our viewing in other rooms of the house. This has only happened a handful of times over the past 6 months since we have had it. Picture Quality The picture quality is AMAZING! I was highly impressed that it delivers true HD from such a little box! Ease of Use Usage is pretty self explainatory and set up was fast and easy. Reliability I rarely have any problems with buffering when using it, but a few times it has caused our Xbox to cause buffering while both were in use. Only a handful of times and it was never a big deal. Compatibility We simply hooked it up to our HD tv and it began the process of syncing up no problem. I had to set up an account on my computer and enter the code given from their website to the Roku box. Super easy.

I received this product as an early Christmas gift and boy was I excited. I couldn't believe something like this even existed. I had a hard time setting it up only cause my wifi is crazy so I got a special cable to hook it up with. Then I bought Netflix which is something I've wanted to double forever. The picture is great and the equipment like the remote is near to use. The box is small and easily placed in my entertainment center. It's way nice that it comes with a remote that is a big perk cause some other similar products you have to use your smartphone to work the product. This is absolutely a product I would tell a friend it is absolutely a product I would buy for a friend. I'm looking forward to see what all this roku hd player all does. I've barely scratched the surface since it's so new. I can't say other than the myself struggling to set up with wifi that there isn't anything wrong with the product.
