Robert's American Gourmet - Tings —

To the Point

I’ve tried many of Robert’s American Gourmet products. I haven’t found one I didn’t like. I bought Tings recently. This was my first experience with this most delicious product.

A Closer View

Tings come in a 6-ounce bag. They are advertised as “crunchy cornstix.” You may have had the orange cheese sticks before. They are crunchy as well and leave your fingers orange. Tings are a healthy and better tasting (really) snack than the orange things.

Tings are small pieces with a light cheese flavor. They contain corn meal, rice or sunflower oil, nutritional yeast (added for enhanced nutrition).

One ounce has 150 calories, 7 grams of fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, 0 transfat, 140 grams of sodium; 2 grams of protein; 18 grams of carbs; no fiber and no sugar.

It would be great if there was no saturated fat but as a snack these are super.

As an aside this is the company that makes Pirate’s Booty with which you may be familiar.

Products can be bought at their website.

The cost for a 6 ounce bag is about $2.50.
