Robert Mysse DDS - - Round Rock, TX Review

When we moved out of Round Rock into the city, I went to a new dentist for a cleaning so that I could make it quick and not take too much time off of work. Big mistake.

Not only did the new dentist make me wait (a lot) longer, but I never even met the dentist. A gruff, unfriendly hygienist did a slow, torturous cleaning while berating me the entire time -- can you believe it?? I will NEVER go back there again.

I'm back to Dr. Mysse and won't ever switch dentists again. He is charming and gentle and he does all the procedures himself, so even if you just need a regular cleaning, he can use the big scaling machine and do it in 10 minutes flat without causing you a bit of pain. His office staff is friendly and I've only waited past my appointment time once in 8 years while he took care of a patient with an emergency, and the receptionist apologized to me profusely.

I didn't know hygienists weren't allowed to use the bigger, fancier machinery. If you've always endured cleanings with archaic, little metal hooks, RUN don't walk to a family practice where you can be seen by the dentist rather than only by his assistants.
