Rival Stoneware Crock Pot —

We received our Rival Stoneware Crock Pot for our wedding, and I don't know what I'd do without it.  Well, I don't know what I'd do without a crock pot in general, not so much this one.  This one works pretty well, but the High heat setting seems to be too high because meat gets pretty dry when I use this setting.  I have even made meat that was submerged in gravy the entire time, and it still came out dry on this setting.  I do like that it has a keep warm function, and it does cook okay on the low setting.  The stoneware portion of the pot is removable, which is really nice for cleaning.  The bottom part of the pot is very light, which is really nice because I feel like I end up moving it around the kitchen a lot.  It does not have a retractable cord, which can be annoying at times because it does seem to get in the way.  It does have a clear lid, which is nice because you check on the food without lifting the lid.  However, this is not a lockable lid.  As I stated with my star rating, this is just an average crock pot.  If I had to register for one again, I think I'd register for a more expensive one because I think it would be worth it.
