This easy to clean, slow cooker is just the right size for cooking meals for a family of four and with low, high and warm settings cooks can decide when they want to eat and when the meal is done. Even those not so comfortable in the kitchen can cook a great meal, Tabycat410 says, “My family says dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off but when I cook with my slow cooker the great smells of great cooked food brings them all to the table.” All our reviewers agree that this slow cooker takes all the work out of making a meal, especially for those who work long hours. It cooks many different things, even turkey or ham, making more time out of the kitchen for holidays. However a few reviewers said it would be nice if there were a more options for the timer as well as more room in the lid, just so they could cook even bigger turkeys! This crock pot works great, and is easy to clean. I also like the size of it - I can make a meal for 4 easily and then my hubby & I can eat leftovers the next day. I Love My Slow Cooker

I love this slow cooker. I can just turn the dial to high 3 or 6 hrs. and leave. The food tastes great. No fuss. I'm not the best cook but now I get alot of help from my Rival slow cooker. Now I can cook anything in it with out a mess or alot of time in the kitchen. My family says dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off but when I cook with my slow cooker the great smells of great cooked food brings them all to the table. I love this crock pot! It has been a real lifesaver for me.  Its large enough to cook just about anything you would need.  I have even cooked small turkeys and hams in mine.  I have more than one and on holidays that is great!  I have cooked my turkey in one and my dressing in another.  After working 3rd shift all night before a holiday this is really nice.  All total I have 7 crock pots of different sizes.  I can get everything going then I can go to bed and wake up to my holiday meal almost completed!

Easy to use and easy to clean up.  Only issue is that it would be nice to see how much time is left.  There is no manual timer so you can set your own time.  It would also be nice if there were a nicer cookbook that was sent with it.  The cookbook gets damaged and lost on the shelf where we keep our cookbooks.  They should also include something to wrap up the cord with.  Most people use a slow cooker on the counter and do not need such a long cord.

the Rival 6 Qt slow cooker is used in my home at least once or twice a week. you can cook a whole meal put it all in and set the time and come back to the whole meal cooked and ready to go, easy clean up too if you spray it with no stick spray. you can buy a cheap cut of beef throw it in the pot with some kind of your favorite dressing or vinegarette and it is sooo tasty and tender you'll love it.

I RECIEVED THIS AS A GIFT, DIDNT USE IT FOR 6 MONTHS, SO I FINALLY DECIEDED TO MAKE A POT ROAST. IT CAME OUT WONDERFUL, TENDER, COOKED WELL. THE NEXT TIME I MADE IT CAME OUT EVEN BETTER. I'VE COOKED SAUSE, BBQ'D PORK AND BEEF STEW AS WELL. THE MINI POT IS GREAT. I'VE MADE FONDUE AND EVERYONE LOVED IT. THE SIZE WAS GREAT FOR DESERTS AND THE KIDS HAD FUN WITH IT.

This slow cooker is wonderful and handy to use when making a large meal like roast and all the fixings although, the lid could have more of a dome to it. The little cooker is very handy when your having a romantic night home with your special person. It is also very easy to clean which is a big plus in my book.
