I absolutely love my Crock Pot.  Not only is it red to match my kitchen, but it works wonders on tougher cuts of meat, helping out my budget and having everything ready for me at the end of a long day of work.  It is particularly great for beef, lamb and ork dishes - meats that are less likely to overcook in long slow cooking.  I do find, however, that even on the Low setting, chicken put in before i go to work and left until i return tends to be way overdone.  If I was buying another Crock Pot (which i will definitely do eventually), I would want to one with the timer feature, so that i could set chichen dishes to not begin cooking until a few hours before i return home.
