The ice cream maker has a great counrty kitchen look, and would be great to leave out on a counter. The process to make ice cream take quite a bit of time and requires alot of attention. I have used the Rival 8550-X Ice Cream Maker with great success! My family looks forward to dessert! I Just add the ingredients plug the maker in and about an hour later we have a wonderful FUN dessert!

I recommend the Rival 8550-X 5 Quart Ice Cream Maker to anyone with no mechanical skills. It is not messy to use. The ingredients are inexpensive. It is fun to use by anyone over the age of 5 with proper supervision. It is great for outdoors use. My family enjoys being creative with making different flavors of ice cream. The most creative we have enjoyed is multiple fruit ice cream. This ice cream maker is a must for all ice cream lovers.

My name is Jessica and I have had this ice maker for over a year I love it!! Anytime we go to an event that i know there is going to be lots of kids or a cookout i take it and all the fixings to make ice cream!! They love it!! It doesnt take as long as the one I had as a kid. Or when i just want my own flavor of ice cream i get creative and thats what i like. All in all great product

Rival 8550-X 5 Quart Ice Cream Maker, is a very fun ice cream maker. We own one and our child loves to it. It's light weigth so if you wanted to take it grandma and grandpa for a sunday brunch you could. This machine dosen't take much work, just a little ice and some sea salt and your ready for your next ice cream sunday.

I like the ease of use. I am always busy, but this is so simple that even I have time to make treats for my family. I have even used it 3 times in one week. I like the premade packets, just add milk. My kids like the ice creams and the sherberts, and it's all easy!

I personaly own one of these ice cream makers, and it is great! It's easy to use, and makes alot of ice cream in one use. I find it fun to make ice cream with my daughter using this maker, and we definitly enjoy eating the great ice cream that we make together! Buy one, you'll love it!
