Rival Deep Fryer CZF725 Review

Oh, how we love this fryer!  Even though I consider myself an accomplished cook, I've never really been comfortable frying foods.  It seems hard to get the temp just right, oil splatters all over, and I always really worry about one of the children coming along and getting splattered.

About a year ago, I decided that I really wanted to try my hand at homemade doughnuts.  Commercially available doughnuts are full of so many yucky chemical additives and I was eager to make these treats from scratch.

I did a LOT of homework before I bought this model, and I have never for a moment regretted the purchase.  In fact, after a few weeks my husband bought me a second one!  (We have a very large family and this is a time saver.) I love the fact that the lid closes securely, the basket is easy to raise, and the filter prevents that "cooked oil" smell.  It is VERY easy to use.

Now, about one Sunday a month, my husband and I work together and make a mountain of homemade doughnuts.  We pile the doughnuts on the table and enjoy them with cold milk and fresh fruit for lunch.  We munch on them all afternoon while playing games with the children.  We are making memories and having a great time!

I've used it for a few other foods as well, always with excellent results, but the doughnuts are the real reason we love it.
