Works great for awhile but then it's all down hill

Rival Deep Fryer CZF630  — 

I have had this fryer for quite a few months. I bought it from wal mart and fell in love with it. I love chicken nuggets and french fries. I have only had the usual issues of the plug coming undone and the lid not staying down, and at other times the lid not coming up when I pushed the button. I love the basket that comes with it. I bought it this summer, it's not december and the fryer is not heating as it should.

I have owned this fryer for about a year. i am very pleased with the fryer. I have had no problems with heat or with the plug coming loose, I use it about once a week
