Rival Crockpot 5.5 QT Red Smartpot Review

I received the Rival 5.5 Qt Smartpot as a gift last fall and have used it several times..  I was having guests over for dinner on a Friday night a few weeks ago, so I made chili the night before, refrigerated it overnight in the crockpot and then left it in the slow cooker all day on Friday while I was at work.  It was so nice to come home that afternoon and not have to worry about rushing to get dinner ready in time for my guests to arrive.  I had it on the lowest setting all day, and it did get quite hot, but it was also on for about 10 hours without being stirred all day.  All I had to do was stir it up when I got home and it was ready to be served when my guests arrived!  Fairly easy clean-up with the removable pot too.  What I really love about this crockpot is its fun red shimmering color.  In the era of stainless steel where that seems to be what everyone has in their kitchen, I think this is a fun color to punch up the kitchen with some color when I have it out.
