Rival Crock pot 7 Quart Review Summary

Reviewers are calling the Rival Crock Pot 7 Quart the "best crock pot on the market" because of it's great size. Holding 7 quarts, this crock pot "holds a whole chicken with room for tons of veggies" and fills up the bellies of "1200 pounds of men" in one meal. In addition to the size, reviewers also appreciate that it's a "time-saving appliance," as using this Rival Crock Pot means "no mess, no fuss, no worries." I had to search a long time to find the perfect Crockpot. In using Rival's 7 quart model, It filled all my needs, and my families bellies as well. I have 1200 lbs of men to feed at my home. I needed a crockpot large enough to cook a family pack of meat. It did the job perfectly. Plug it in, set the easy...

A Rival crockpot is a great way to have dinner on the table every night.  Just place a few ingredients in the pot, plug it in and let cook on low until dinner.  No mess, no fuss, no worries.  Sit down to a home cooked meal every night!

I love this crock pot so much!  I have the red colored one so it matches my other applicances well.  What can I say?... I just don't cook!  But with Rival's Crock Pot I was able to toss in a few veggies some meat a little seasonings and I was Martha Stuart for a moment!  Everyone loved my pot roast!  It was a big hit! It makes me feel like a Top Chef when I use it!

The Rival Crockpot is a great gift and comes with an owner's guide/recipe booklet that are just what you need.  Two of my favorite recipes from the booklet are "Mock Lasagne" and "Tuna Noodle Casserole" -- they are both very tasty.

If the weather is really just too hot to barbecue outside and you don't want to heat up your entire kitchen by turning on the oven, try these recipes that taste just as great as barbecue food but you won't have to perspire so much.

The Rival 7 Qt Crock pot is a family crock pot.  It is large enough to fix enough food for a family of six and even allow for left overs.  Since this crock pot is oval shaped as well, it will allow you to cook a roaster chicken in it, a nice thick and long roast (along with veggies), or even a small ham in it.

It has three settings: low, high and keep warm.  I do find that even on low, things cook quicker than my older crock pot and things can even boil at this level.  However, it still takes more time than cooking it on the stove.  I have found I can even cook the food for longer periods...

I have used a Rival 4 qt crock- pot for years and I always had to cut up my chicken into pieces and cut a large roast in two, three or more pieces.  I LOVE THIS new Rival 7 quart CROCK POT. The first thing I cooked in it was a large roast with four whole potatoes and a pound of carrots, and it looked like there was room to fit twice as much food in it. A  LARGE stewing chicken fits with room to spare. There's only two of us (empty nesters) so I crock pot meal lasts several days, I put the removable crock with lid in my refridgerator. Easy clean up when you're done too. Lots of recipes that can... review »

I purchased the Rival 7 quart slow cooker in September.  I hadn't done much with this appliance until it turned cold and it is wonderful for making soups, stews, casseroles, chili, mac and cheese, which my family enjoys during the cool weather.  It sure saves me time when I get home from work, when I'm already almost too tired to cook.  But I do have the energy to dish up.

It has a keep warm setting, which is wonderful if I have to pick up one of the kids at sports practice.

The only negative I've heard about this (my sister has one, too) is that a replacement lid or replacement ceramic insert...

i am a single mom, working 2 jobs and taking care of the kids and the family zoo.  i use my rival crock pot 7 quart a minimum of twice a week.  it cleans up easy and the food always tastes so fresh.  my daughter's favorite is shredded beef  or chicken tacos.  both come out fabulous.  this crock pot makes enough for us to eat one night and either freeze for a later supper or leftovers.  what a perfect size.  clean up is very easy also.  the pot comes out of the cooker so it can go into the dishwasher.  thanks for making my life a whole lot easier.

I just recently purchased this 7-quart crockpot when I realized that I needed to upgrade from my 3.5-quart.  Wow, it's amazing how much more I can do with this crockpot.  It is great for making large roasts or large batches of soups and stews.  Anyone would appreciate this on those cold winter days.  Just fill and go.  Nothing to think about or worry about.  It's great knowing that your meal is cooking while you are going about your daily business.  No fuss.  It's great!

My crock pot is very conventional. I cook in it on cold days. My family loves it when I use it. They are like yeah mom used the slowcooker, we're having soup tonight.  I am a very busy woman these days. I am attending college online and I am a elderly caretaker of my father.I really have no time to really don't have the time or the patience to cook or bake at this point in my life.
