Rival Crock Pot is an absolute necessity in the kitchen, It is probably the item I use the most. Rival Crock Pot is easy to clean, because the inner pot is removable. I can store left overs in the same pot in the refrigerator, pull it out the next day place it in the Rival Crock pot cooker and warm up for lunch or again for dinner. I work second shift and I do not want cold food. I place all my items in the Rival Crock Pot and when I get home I have a hot meal that is home made, easy on the pocket book, and I have the security in knowing that when my family is home they also have a hot home cooked...

I have had the Rival Crock Pot with two heat settings (low and high) for 12 years and it has served my husband and I meals with consistancy during that entire time period. I use my Rival Crock Pot 4-5 times per week.  This crock pot is easy to use, easy to clean and came with a cook book of suggested recipes, which I use most every time.  When you are a busy small business owner that works evenings and also has a husband that doesn't cook, it is nice to come home to a fresh, hot, cooked meal.

I would also like to mention that it doens't take very much time to put the raw food in the pot...

The Rival Crock Pot is oval shaped and larger than most crock pots.  It is easy to use and has a removeable serving dish that goes from pot to table with no problem.  The 6-quart size makes it easy to serve a large family a very appetizing meal from one pot.  It is easy to clean because of the removeable pot.  It can be washed in the sink or put in the dishwasher and has a clear lid that makes it easy see the food cooking inside.  The oval shape adds a little more room for large pieces of meat - so that it doesn't have to be cut up before putting in the pot.  It also has 3 settings - Low,...

The rival crock pot, i use this product every few months, (i'm not much of a crock pot cooker) i really like it.  it has a nice and big removelable pot,  with a stainless steel outside.  it has a warm feature which is really nice, and a high and low feature. sometimes the high setting is too high, and cooks things too fast(i do not like to use the high because i am afraid i will burn the food)  i always have felt that the high feature cooks things way too fast and do not want to burn things so do not use it.  it has a nice clear cover which makes it easy to see "what's cooking"  although...

I recieved the newer Rival stainless oval crock pot for a wedding gift seven years ago. My previous crockpots were also Rival, but they were small and ugly seventies shades like orange and avacado. I really love the newer version. When I have a party or bring a hot meal somewhere I am no longer embarrassed of my crock! I do love that the inside is removable and after it cools down I sometimes cover it with plastic wrap and put it right into the frige. I also LOVE the size. Previously the rivals were just too small. The oval larger pot is big enough to feed alot af people and is perfect for parties...

Crock pots are a wonderful neccessity in the kitchen.  This rival crock pot is a great tool.  Crock pot cookery is so easy.  Put all the ingredients in and set the temperature and just let it go.  This paticular crock pot is of good size so it can handle everthing from roasts to stews to desserts.  The weight of the pot makes this easy to clean up after too.  I love cooking on the low temperature to bring out the tenderness and flavor of many foods especially a roast of any kind.  Entire meals can be created easily in one pot with very little effort needed from the cook.  However the food...

I never thought I would be writing about a crockpot! But I simply must let everyone know about this great discovery and ease of cooking! There's something about this crockpot that makes cooking easier. Even though I'm the cook, I simply love walking in the house and smell a delicious dinner cooking! And this Rival crockpot is simply great. It is oblong so I don't have to jam things in to cook - it's all so simple! And when dinner is over the pot comes out so I can wash it and get the leftovers out easily. I like too that it has a carrier so that I can meet dinner obligations outside of the...

I HAVE HAD MY CROCK POT FOR EVER IT SEEMS. I HAVE THROUGH THE YEARS UPDATED MY CROCK POT ALWAYS STAYING WITH THE RIVAL CROCK POTS. THEY HAVE MADE SO MANY UPDATES AND IMPROVEMENTS THAT IT DOESN'T SEEM POSSIBLE THAT THEY COULD EVER ADD ANYTHING MORE CONVENIENT, BUT THEY ALWAYS DO! THE CROCK POT HAS A HIGH, MEDIUM, AND LOW SETTING ALONG WITH A KEEP WARM SETTING. REMOVABLE CROCK POT BASIN WITH IN THE ALUMINUM COOKER MAKES IT EVEN MORE CONVENIENT FOR COOKING AS WELL AS SERVING OR EVEN TAKING TO DINNER PARTIES! IT HAS LOCKING CLIPS THAT YOU CAN SECURE THE LID ON TO THE POT TO TRANSPORT, WITHOUT EVER... read full review »

I have had my Rival crock pot since I got married in 1990.  It has a removable crock which can go in the dish washer.  It has two settings:  low and high.  I use it at least two times a week and it has never disappointed me.  I have recently switched to using crock pot liners for convenience, but the crock cleans up easily if you spray it lightly with cooking spray before hand.  Most of the time, I prepare my meal the night before and place the entire crock in the refrigerator.  The next morning, I simply place the crock in the pot, turn it on low, and it's ready to eat when we get home. ...

The Rival Crockpot is a must have in the kitchen!  My fiancee works 12 hour days and I commute over an hour each way for school.  When we get home the last thing we want to do is cook dinner, but luckily with the crockpot when we get home dinner is usually ready to serve!  We have had this product for over 2 years and it does a wonderful job of cooking our food just right.  The removable inner ceramic dish makes clean up a breeze since it is also dishwasher safe.  I have tried other brands, but this one takes the cake.  It has been the most reliable whe nit comes to cooking time and clean-up. ...

Who can not have a Crock Pot these days.  They are the best and there are so many things you can make in them.  Even Martha Stewart has recipes.  I love tro stew meats and make barbeque pulled pork.  It made making the food and cleanup super easy and the pork tasted divine.  It allowed the fat chunks to rise to the surface and I could pick them out so my pulled pork had fantastic flavor but did not have fat chunks when the guests bit into their sandwich.

I do not get mine out too often, since IU do not have much counter space in the kitchen, but it is fantastic for not heating up the house...

The Rival Crockpot is a must have in any kictchen. Especially if you are a busy household on the go. I babysit my granddaughter in another town so when I get home sometimes it is late and don't have time to make a complete meal. I can throw left overs in and turn it on for a little while and it heats everything up while I go do something else. The best part about it is that you can put your meat and vegetables in at night and turn it on low and by morning you will have that days lunch ready to go. This is good when you have a lunch to pack   I also store the whole thing in the refirdgearator...

I don't know what I would do without my Rival Crockpot. This is a great appliance to own. The best things about it are the removable pot - it's so easy to clean - I can actually just put the pot into the dishwasher when I'm done. I also love the different heat settings - which specifies how many hours it will take to cook something. This is so helpful when I'm calculating what time I want to serve the meal I'm cooking. If you've never used a crockpot, I don't know what you're waiting for! These are so easy to use, and the food comes out delicious!!! I use mine all the time! I've made roasts, chili,...

I am reveiwing the Rival Crock Pot.  This particular crock pot was first bought by my mother, I  believe in the 1970s.  She used it every once in awhile.  After she passed away, I took ownership of it.  Since then I make at least 1 meal a week in it.  It is especially a life saver on hot or busy days.  I have many doctor appointments so starting the meal in the morning and not having to worry about it makes meal time stress free.  I bought one for a couple of friends, and often think about getting myself a newer slow cooker, but can't seem to part with it.  It has only 2 settings, high...

What can I say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Crock Pot!  It is sucha time saver, not only does it save me time before dinner time it is a one pot meal.  No extra dishes to clean up and put away, wow that in itself is awesome.  You can cook everything in a Rival crock pot from appetizer's to dips to soups to deserts yes even cake!  To my amazement I even cooked a Turkey in it! WOW! Yes a turkey! I have had a few issues w/ over cooking and cheese burning on the edges when making cheese dip.  I know that the setting are high/low etc but leave it in too long on low your in trouble w/ the overcooking....
