Rival Crock Pot - Slow Cooker 6-Quart 6030 Review

This is the right size and has the right features. It can run a little hot so I rarely use the high setting- only to produce a boil when I'm making a sauce. The Rival Crock Pot is great because the oval shape holds a lot and provides the most cooking surface. I find I am now cooking most things I used to cook in the oven in the Crock pot now. I've been doing a lot of canning and the Crock Pot made the best pumpkin and apple butter! And I was able to plug it in outside so I didn't heat up my kitchen. I just discovered that the Rival Crock Pot does a great job carmelizing onions. Who knew?
