Rival 6 Quart Crock Pot Slow Cooker
My Rival Crock Pot really earns the title of the MVP of all of my kitchen appliances. I use it quite often and go out to play for the afternoon and still put out a hot, but never-overcooked meal on the table.
I use the slow cooker for chili, soups, desserts, roasts, chicken, tacos, shepard's pies and on and on. With a slow cooker you never have to have the same old, same old. This week it is Hawaiian Chicken, next week it is Curry Chicken and Cashews and the next it is good ole' BBQ Chicken. The slow cooker does most of the work and I get all of the credit....
read full review »I recently bought a Rival Crock Pot to use at pot luck dinners and similar events. I went with the Rival brand because they are the ''Original Slow Cooker'' and still make them right. It also helped that the price was really reasonable.
My Rival Crock Pot is a 6-quart size. The exterior is stainless steel with black handles. The pot inside is a round, heavy-duty ceramic, 10 inches across and topped with a glass lid. It has black plastic handles and the lid has a black plastic knob on top. There are three settings: Low, High, and Warm. Overall it looks decent.

read full review »the Rival crock-pot is really nice. the size is great and i have the white one and it's really pretty and easy to clean. The inside part is stoneware and cooks food easily. I received it as a gift and it was one of the nicest that I received. I've made everything in it. If you are going to make meatball sauce, I would recommend backing the meatballs first and them add them to the sauce. But that is with any crockpot. my Mom has a Crock-pot ans she's had it for twenty years. It still works great. I don't know where my crock-pot was purchased but I know that you can get them at walmart or target...
