Rival 6 quart slow cooker Review

I have the 6 quart Rival Crockpot.  It is a big oval shape so great for doing big items such as a ham or large roast or small turkey.  It has a glass lid that attaches at the back so you can tilt it back to stir things or add things and it stays up.  When you get ready to serve or clean up, the lid just slips out of the sleeve easily.  The ceramic liner is black and is easily cleaned.  There are so many recipes for slow cookers and this one has enough temperature settings to make almost anything you want.  It does cook a little hotter than the old original crock pots so be aware of the when you are going to leave it cooking for a longer period of time.  I never worry about going off somewhere and leaving it to do the job.  It is attractive enough to serve out of too!  If you are a busy Mom or homemaker, this is a good tool for you to use.  It will save you many hours of hovering over a soup or stew or many other items waiting for it to cook.  You can use it virtually unattended.
