Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Dubbed " Number 1 aquarium in the US" by TripAdvisor. It's good but definitely not that great in my own opinion.

My family took a trip to Gatlinburg at the end of July of this year. I for one always check for reviews on everything! Checked this place out on TA and thought wow this place must be something special.

For beginners the ticket prices were rather high. We paid about $22 each for my husband and I and $5.50 for my then 5 year old, our 1 year old was free. The place really isn't that big. The flow is nice and maximizes it's small space. There weren't...

Ripley's Aquarium Of The Smokies

My husband and I went to the Ripley's Aquarium when we went on our honeymoon to the Great Smokey Mountains. I had never been to an aquarium before, and I loved it. My husband, however, is an aquarium fanatic. He was impressed. He really enjoyed petting the stingrays. There were lots of things to see there, we could have spent more than one day there. Our camera battery ran out before the aquarium did, and that's saying alot! There is a tunnel where you are surrounded by a shark tank. This is great and even better if you get the passes online before you go, you can get tickets to 1 or more Ripley's attractions in Gatlinburg for lower prices than the gate!!!
