The Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa is beautiful - lovely grounds, clean beach, large pools, and plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach/pool towels. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. I only have a couple of criticisms. First, the food is extremely expensive. I highly recommend asking the concierge for local restaurant recommendations and eating off-property as much as possible. There are friendly bakeries and restaurants within a short drive of the resort (too long to walk.) Second, the air conditioning is set too low in the main foyer and restaurants. Plan to bring…
