Rimmel London Lycra Lash Extender is my most recent mascara purchase. I wanted something which would make my lashes thick, long and that would also last right throughout the day. I have used many mascaras, this one is one of my favorites, perhaps not my all time favorite, but still very good value for money. Indeed it does thicken and elongate my lashes and it pretty much does stay on all day. Sometimes mascaras are so thick you feel like your eyelids are carrying a comb - this is not it. It makes you eyelashes long, but natural. I don't like mascaras which flake and disintegrate a bit towards the end of the day - again, this is not it. It really does stay on until you wash it off. But if I have to be really picky, there has been the odd occasion where I may have sneezed, my eyes have watered and the addition of this mascara seems to irritate my eye temporarily. The package indicates that you can expect 60% more length and this I would agree with. However it also states that you can expect 50% more curve and this I'm struggling to agree with. However all things said, I'm quite pleased with my purchase and would purchase it again. My eyes have become somewhat more sensitive over the years so just maybe the irritation problem as at my end!

Let me start by saying that i am a mascara expert- hoarder. I have tried probably every mascara out there. At this moment I probably own more than 30 different mascaras from every brand out there: high end and drug store brands. I have been using this mascara for a few years and i love it. It does not clump, it gives you length and great separation and volume. I have naturally curly eyelashes so i have not idea if it does anything for curling the lashes. The smell is fine, does not bother me. I tried other Rimmel mascara and i don't really care for them. I am not sure if it is the formula or the brush or both that work so great, all i know it works. I think Rimmel discontinued this one because it is been really hard to find it in stores. I have two brand new ones stocked up but I pray that Rimmel did not discontinue this one or if they did they need to bring it back. Overall, I think if you want beautiful lashes you owe it to yourself to try this one, if you can find it, of course.

I'm one of those girls who used to have long gorgeous lashes. And then I got older and work and stress and life took their respective tolls, I suppose, and my pretty lovely lashes faded away. Since then, I've searched high and low for the perfect natural mascara. One that curls and lengthens, yet doesn't look completely fake. Something noticable, yet natural feeling. This is that mascara. Totally lightweight. And soft, never stiff. The brush is one of the best I've used. But the mascara itself? Genius. I love that it can look so natural, yet still make my eyes stand out. When I wear the Brown shade, I feel like I have my old lashes back... Finally.Sure, there are days that I want dramatic lashes and big and bold is the way to go. On those days, I still use this mascara, just more of it. And I definitely use black, of course.

I can't say enough good things about Rimmel's Lycra Lash Extender mascara.  I use it daily and just one or two coats do the trick. Since my eyelashes are completely blonde, I need a good mascara that will cover thoroughly and darken without having to use five coats.  This product definitely delivers.  Using other mascaras, I would sometimes have to pile on several coats just to have my lashes visible, but with Rimmel's product, I simply put on a coat and go! Other "lengthening" mascaras have made the same claims that they curl your lashes and leave no clumps, but I had no luck with those until I tried Rimmel's product.  You don't get the "spider lashes" that you get with other mascaras, but you can build upon layers to get that dramatic effect if you want a little extra "oomph". Another bonus: one tube lasts much longer than other mascaras.  You don't get the dried out mess that sometimes comes after using a tube for several weeks.  So, you get great coverage, no clumps, and the option of a dramatic look, all for less!

I am probably the most picky person when it comes to my mascara.  I have tried almost every brand (outside of the department store) and have tried three from the Rimmel London line.  I love the luxurious long lashes, but am not very savvy on the application of or surviving more than a few minutes with false lashes.  When I found this Rimmel Lash Extender, I thought this was the answer to my prayers for the supermodel long lush lashes, but what I got was a mess.Perhaps my expectations were just too much for this product to live up to. The brush gets a lot of build up and that transfers to your lashes. The "tar" is very thick and I wind up feeling like a model from the 70s with those heavy made up eyes when I get done using it.  If we're voting on the extension factor, I'll grade it well because it did make my lashes longer, they were just all stuck together.  I guess a lash comb would solve that problem, but out of the tube - that's my experience.

I'm a big fan of Rimmel Mascaras but the latest I've tried is Rimmel's Lycra Lash Extender Mascara and it's not for me.  I find the product very hard to apply it leaves clumps and when you try to remove the clumps with the brush it leaves little wet dots on your skin.  I will contine to use Rimmel's other Mascaras just not this product.  I did not find this product to be worth the price I paid and will switch.  It does make your lashes curve and adds length, but is just to messy to apply.  I think the packaging- the tube itself could have been made a little prettier too.  The Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender Mascara to me does not come close to Rimmels other products.  If you are in a hurry to apply this and head out the door, don't use this product as you will be trying to clean little dots and smudges off your skin.  If the product was made a little dryer and clumped up my lashes less I would give it much higher marks.

I already have long lashes, but since I had a great coupon for this mascara I thought I'd see if they really lengthened or not.  Yes, they did make my eyes pop with length and volume!  I really liked that the Rimmel Lash Extender didn't clump on my lashes, unlike 95% of the other mascaras I've tried.  It went on smoothly and it was easy to move the mascara around on my lashes with the brush.  Rimmel's brush doesn't seem to get gobs of mascara on it either; so there's not as much chance to get big blobs of it on your lashes or eye area. I wear mascara every day, and like for something to have a not-too-made-up look.  I don't want people to wonder whether I have fake lashes, but want something that flatters.  This does the trick.  My lashes look fuller and longer, showing off my blue eyes more easily.  I can go from daytime-cute mommy to fancy date night out with my hubby just by adding a coat of the Rimmel Lash Extender for evening.  The second coat goes on very easily, by the way, and it's still been clump-free for me. It's about as easy to remove as other mascaras, so I wouldn't call that a positive or a negative.  But, with the other positives, I still love this mascara.

**Rimmel London LYCRA Lash Extender Mascara** is my fav- even among other rimmel mascaras. The brush is clean cut and defined, which means it doesn't pull out clumpy and "gooy". It separates my lashes and makes them longer. I have it in black and in brown. With this mascara on my lashes do a "thumbs up". :)
