Rimmel London Extra Super Lash Mascara Review

In the past I've had some bad experiences with Rimmel cosmetics but decided to try their Extra Super Lash mascara anyway. I ran out of mascara recently and could not pass up the good price (only $2.99 a tube) and the buy one, get one free special going on at Walgreens.

So I've been using this mascara for about a month and really like it.  The wand is nice and long so my own hand does not get in the way when I'm trying to apply the product.  The brush head is fat on one end and then tapers down to a point on the outside end for getting into corners.  The brush is not super thick but it works well to apply a good amount of mascara to my lashes and it coats them well.  The mascara darkens my lashes nicely and makes them thicker without having to deal with clumps or spiky lashes that stick together.  They also stay pretty soft after the mascara dries.

Even after I apply three or four coats the product does not clump or make my lashes stick together.  It produces that thick, dramatic look that I like.

This mascara does not flake off onto my face or into my eyes so it is good for those who wear contacts or who have sensitive eyes.  It does run a little when I wash my face or shower so it is not waterproof.  But it does wear well all day long and doesn't run when exposed to small amounts of water. It washes off easily with cleanser and water or with make up remover.
