I have used this Pampered Chef Rice Cooker numerous times. I have steamed vegetables. I have made a delicious and fancy looking desert in a matter of 12 minutes all in the same container. It is worth every penny!!! The Rice Cooker is a life saver for busy moms who want to keep their families happy!!!
Aroma Rice Cooker
I like this Aroma Rice Cooker. I had one but when we moved from California to Atlanta, we left there and now, here in Atlanta its little costly $30. It cooks real good. I used to make veg pulao (rice mixed with spices and vegetables). Its hard to cook without this. The only concern is that the lid is attached and cannot remove it, which makes cleaning of the lid difficult.

My friend told me about this rice cooker. I thought I would try it since she said it is the best rice cooker on the maket. Well, she was right. This is the most genius rice cooker ever made! I make homemade mashed potatoes, spanish rice from the box in only 12 minutes in the mircowave. My hsband is amazed that it does not have to be a holiday to get mashed potatoes on a week night! I got this Ten cup rice cooker as a wedding gift about four years ago. I never used a rice cooker before. I just love it. I use it all the time. I love how easy it is to clean. Nothing sticks. I put all myingredients together and forget about it. When its done it automaticly stops cooking and goes to the warming setting. I can cook for large crowd or just the 2 of us and my rice never burns. The clear lid is very convenient. I don't have to open the lid to see how the rice is going. I am very happy with this rice cooker, I do not know why I wait so long to buy one but I am glad I did. This is a very fast and simple way to cook rice even for soup, stew and steam vegetables. It is really awesome. You can have firm or fluffy rice without having to be watching the pot and stirring. Once it finished to cook the rice it keep it warm automatically until you and yours are ready to eat. The cooking bowl is easy to remove and you can easily can take to the table and serve from it. I received my Wolfgang Puck Rice cooker as a gift. I was unfamiliar with this particular kitchen appliance, so I was delighted to discover that it cooks way more than just rice. I can prepare an entire meal in minutes after a long day at work. Also, when they say 7 cups; they mean 7 raw cups. The cooker can actually prepare as much as 14 cooked cups of rice! Making rice is easy....you dump even amounts of liquid and rice with its special little measuring cup. You can add things to it for different varieties and flavors!

The month of May was approaching and my husband had asked me what I wanted for my birthday...and I had requested a small rice cooker. Thinking he would forget, he found the Cuisinart CRC-400. This is a small, efficient, compact rice cooker/steamer. Since our family had downsized (my eldest going off to college) I didn't need a large rice cooker in the home.
I haven't used the steamer portion of the cooker yet, so I can't comment on that benefit, but I use the rice cooker frequently. Being of Asian descent (second generation), we know our rice! The rice cooker does a fine job...
