Reynolds Handi-Vac Handheld Vacuum Sealer —

I've had mine for almost 2 months.  First, it's not designed very well.  On a small counter you can't stand it up and it will take up space.  To get at the batteries is difficult with a tiny and oddly placed screw.  The batteries don't last very long and are difficult to replace.  It would be nice if this were rechargeable or able to plug  and use.

On to how it works.  The seals on bags don't last so it's not for long term storage.  Finally, after the short time I've owned it, it's died.  NOt even 2 months.  Then I find the warranty is only for 30 days.  Excuse me but I'd rather spend more money on something that will last than constantly replace something.  You'll find in the long run it costs less.

All they want you doing is coming back and replacing it.  My friend has had his food sealer for 4 years and still working great at $129.  Replacing the handi vac every 2 months at $12-13 at walmart over 4 years and be certain the price will increase?  You do the math.
