The pros about this curling iron is that it gets really hot, it's not heavy and it's somewhat durable. The cons is that it's gold plated, which damaged my hair significantly, it snags, and my curls don't last long from it. When I tried it for my busier days, my curls fell flat. On my lazier days, they turned into waves or I ended up with some bounce in my hair.

I must start out by saying I use a curling iron every day. It's a must for me as I have natural straight hair. This curling iron is great as it really gives a nice natural looking curl to your hair. I use a simple trick and that is if you have a little longer hair and want more bounce to your curl after you cur;l it just stick a clip on the curl for a few minutes and then pull them out and comb your hair. give a bit of hair spray and you have a great loo for the whole day. This curling iron is great as you don't get the iron sticking to your hair which some do as well as you don't get your hair burnt either. This curling iron sells for a great affordable price and is a brand name you can trust. It's great to have something you can rely on every day especially in the summer with all the humidity you want to look fresh and not like you just finished cleaning your house. A few curls and it makes a difference.

I'm happy with this curling iron.  Over the years I've had many, but this is the best one for me.  I do wish it had an automatic shut off, though.   It does heat up quickly and holds the heat well.  It's easy to clean when it gets 'trashed' by hair spray, etc.--although it's not a good idea to try to clean the barrel with the curling iron is turned on :-)

I got this curling iron pack as a birthday gift. I am very happy with it. It offers three different size irons that can be used for different lengths of hair. It heats up quickly, but doesnt have a ready light. You have to guess when it is hot enough. I also wish it had an auto shut off. It also has a safety stand so the iron doesn't burn your countertop,two heat settings,and an on indicater light, and a cool to the touch tip. All in all, I would recommend this to a friend. The price was also good from what I was told.

I got my first revlon stylers curling iron quite a few years ago and use it very frequently and it has not let me down! There are many heat settings, which make it great depending on your hair type and the style you are going for. Over the years, parts have broken on this curling iron, but they have been easily repaired, or it will still function even with the broken part. I appreciate revlon's affordable prices and their quality products, especially when I can't afford to buy a high-end hair styler. The iron heats up in about 1 minute, although I find that even after 30 seconds, it can be hot enough to use. It automatically shuts off after one hour, so if you forget, you don't have to worry or make an extra trip home to turn it off. I would highly recommend this curling iron, it has served me well and even though it looks like it is ready for the trash, it still works great. I will definitely be buying another one of these when my current one breaks.

The Revlon curling iron is the worst curling iron that I have ever used. It takes forever to heat up, and even then, it does not really ever get that hot. I bought the Revlon 2 inch barrel curling iron because I was going for the beachy waves kind of look, but this iron never even heated up enough for me to curl my hair very well. I don't know if it is because my iron had a 2-inch barrel that my hair was so hard to curl. Even when I tried to curl very small segments, I could not get the curls to hold for very long. If I were you, I would waste my time with Revlon hair styling tools. I recently bought another curling iron that works much better, and even my old one works a lot better than this one. Good thing it was relatively inexpensive, or I would have felt really bad about buying it in the first place. Overall, I definitely would not recommend this product - look at other brands if you want a curling iron.

I really like this curling iron and feel it's a great value for the price, but you get what you pay for.  If you want a curling iron that you're going to have and use for years to come, this is not for you.  I use mine daily and also use a lot of hair products that over time build up on the barrel so I like to buy a new one ever 6 months or so.  It's so reasonably priced I don't mind paying to have a new one a couple of times a year.  One thing that I noticed goes out quickly is the spring loaded wand feature.  After compressing and releasing the lever several times a day for weeks on end I'm not surprised that this finally gives.  There is a fairly small pin that holds the lever in plan and either it breaks, or the spring does after a few months of use.  But the curling iron heats up really fast, it's light and easy to bring along when I travel, and it doesn't catch or pull my hair like some of the other brands do.

I really liked the inexpensiveness of this curling iron.  I am use to curling irons that get really really hot.  I got this to curl hair for a wedding and ended up using an older curling iron because it got hotter and took less time.  If I had more time this would have been a great curling iron.  Wish the clamp to hold the hair was a little tighter as well.

 I love my Revolon curling iron it is great and the brand is wonderful to Revlon has a lot of great product like make up, hair product and ect... it is a brand you can trust. It has gave me great services and very dependable, reliable and very easy to use. It heats up and will be ready to use in just seconds. It makes beatiful curls and you can do about anything you want with your hair it does come with a one year warrenty and like i said before you can style and go in seconds just be careful around kids and your self cause it does get very hot and can burn you pretty good, but other then that they are very cheap and affordable. you can use it to make different style of curls or just flip your hair in or out and all so you can get this revolon hair curlier in different sizes. The really big sizes that are hard to find all the way down to the very tiny sizes and every one will be as wonderful as this one which is middle sized. get one and try it for your self.
