This is a FANTASTIC flat iron. Do not think twice about buying this one. This works GREAT! I have curly hair and when I do straighten my hair on occasion this flat iron does a truly excellent job. Seriously look no further if you want a really great flat iron at a really great price. The larger plates on this flat iron makes such a difference. I cannot tolerate those tiny little irons. They make straightening hair so much more difficult than it should have to be. This makes the job so much easier and I have found this iron to be very durable. I have been using this iron for several years. I am loyal to it for sure! I highly recommend it!

Best flat iron for the price out there. My hair is super thick and long so the "stick" style ones take forever, this one handles more hair effectively. 1-minute heat up is awesome when I'm in a hurry. It takes a beating too, I'm a major klutz and it's taken many dives to the floor without breaking or it's performance being affected. Probably not the easiest on short hair and doesn't do the curling tricks that the thin ones do, but it's a *flat* iron, of I wanted my hair curly I'd just leave it natural.

This was my first straightener and I bought it mostly because it wasnt very expensive for a newbie like me. I have thick curly hair so this straightener was amazing. It had thick plates which made it very easy to get more done in lesser amount of time. It had multiple heat settings that I could use depending on how rough or coarse my hair felt at that point of time. It also heated up pretty quickly so I could use it as soon as I plugged it in. My only problem with this was that although the wide blades helped cover more hair in lesser time, it also made it harder to handle it. I almost always got my finger or skin too close to the blade. It is not the ceramic blade so it does tend to be harsher on your hair. Being my first experience I did not know what I needed to look for, but it was a good investment and for a good price. It did not burn my hair or anything like that. My hair always felt smooth and nice after using this.

I have to start off by saying that when it comes to hair care products, I have literally tried everything! And when I say everything, I mean absolutey everything! I have had roughly over 20 different flat irons, and they all lasted maybe 3 to 4 months, then they started to lose their luster. One day I shared my problems with a girlfriend of mine, and she let me try hers out. She swore it as the best out there. I didnt believe her at first, considering my past problems. But i gave it a try, and wow did it work like a charm! I mean, it got my hair straighter then it had ever been before, hair salons included! The heat time is under 5 minutes, which i think is extraordinary just by itself. Then, when I actually put it to my head, i felt my hair straightening right in the iron! It was like a mircale. So I went out and bought one that same day! It wasnt too expensive, and I promised to try it out 4 months before i got excited. Well, I have had it for about 6 months now and it still works as great as the day i bought it. All I have to say is thank you sooo much!

I am quite clutzy and was afraid I was going to burn myself, but I never did with this straightener. One of the biggest PROS of this straigtener was the width - I could do a decent sized section of hair each time. It is a lot wider than most ceramic hair straighteners. I used it twice a day. It died after about 4 months of use, but all in all, it was used a LOT! If you are going to use it that often, I suggest spending a little more money on a professional straightener so that you get more use out of it. It got hot quickly, but not too hot! Be careful when straightening hair that has product on it (like a straightening gel or cream) because it will smoke. Also, you cannot use this on wet hair. If it's your first straightener - go for it! Easy to use, not a lot of muss and fuss.

I wear my hair curly sometimes, but mostly I prefer to wear it straight. The Revlon Ceramic straightener that I use is perfect for my hair, and it took some time away from it to realize. The revlon was my first straightener, and after I had used it a while, I thought it was time to upgrade. Oh, how I was wrong! After using a different brand of straightener for a while, I looked at old pictures of myself and realized how much better my hair had looked when I had used the Revlon! So I dug it back out and began using it faithfully again. The great things about this product is that there is a variety of heat settings to set the straightener to. It doesn't take long to warm up, either. Some straighteners I have used take like 7 minutes! This one usually is ready in about 2-3 minutes. It makes my hair very shiny, and I get compliments on it quite frequently when I use it. I love that it is wider than other straighteners. I feel like other ones don't get as much done as efficiently as the Revlon does.

I really enjoy using my Revlon Perfect Heat Professional Straightener - RV059C, I wasn't born with silky smooth hair, or good hair as it is called where I come from so occasinally I have to use a straightner to get my hair in a managable condition. I've tried other straightners from Sally's but this one does'nt even compare to what I've tried, it so easy to use, and I'm going to give it to you blank' once I put that grease on my hair and then appy Revlon's Perfect Heat Proffessional Straightner to it, it has my hair looking as if I went and got it professional relaxed. If you don't have good hair like me or if you do, I so recommended if you haven't already giving this product a try. It will be worth the time and money. Especially if you're like me a busy person and don't have alot of time to spend in a saloon or on your hair period.
