Revlon Nail Enamel Review Summary

Revlon Nail Enamel comes in a nice variety of shades from matte to shimmer and applies easily. Our reviewers say that the polish lasts at least a few days without chipping and looks good on their nails. The colors are generally sheer though and a few coats may be needed to get the shade you want. The price is decent for nail polish and sales make Revlon Nail Enamel quite affordable. Our reviewers say Revlon Nail Enamel isn't the best nail polish out there but they don't have too many complaints either. Check out all of our nail polish reviews and see which are the most popular among our discerning at home manicurists.

Revlon Nail Enamel goes on really smoothly and evenly. The application brush works well. The polish withstands chipping for a few days and maintains its shine. There are many great colors to choose from as well, I like Rose Zing because it is a soft pink color with flecks of gold in it.

I am not having luck with nail polish. I've decided to do my own nails to save a little money but this isn't working. I reviewed Essie and Sally Hanson and they both let me down. I couldn't resist the buy one get one on Revlon Nail Enamel. I was looking for a burgundy color and went with Bewitching...

Dries quickly enough to screw up the job.  My main gripe is that I never can use up the bottle before the stuff disintegrates!  Either it distills into layers or thickens - and once it's thickened, I have to pour nail polish remover into the bottle every time I use it.  It's just not a good deal.  The brush broke off from the cap on more than one bottle.  Also, simply doesn't last too well.

I have the Revlon Nail Enamel in color #635, Stawberry Sizzle. This color is absolulely fabulous with a splash of light-reflecting shimmer and goes on nice and smooth. The only problem I have with this product is that it takes about three coats to get a nice solid color out of it. Other than that, its great and I would highly recommend it! This color goes with just about everything!

I like doing my nails at home, and for my nail polish i choose Revlon Nail Enamel. I love the red colors so i bought Wine With Everything and it is really wonderful...It covers evenly and smoothly and i just need two coatings to get the result i want...It is hard as nail and doesn't chip for days, exactly the thing i want from a nail polish. To make it even more beautiful and durable, i just apply a Revlon fast drying Top Coat. You'll be amazed of how nice they look, it's like you had your nails done in a salon!!

I have an extensive collection of makeup and nail polish as well.  Amongst my higher-end nail polishes I find I am always returning to my main staple colors from Revlon.  I have two nude to pinkish shades and one bold red in the Revlon nail enamel line.  I find that with the right base and top coats, these polishes hold up just as well as the top dollar varieties and the color stays vibrant.  They are easy to apply and go on smooth with the brush provided.

I can appreciate how these polishes are very affordable, even on sale at the drugstore at times and how the line has a nice array of pratical...

I do my own manicures and pedicures when summer comes and I am always looking for a high quality reasonably priced nail polish at the drug store.  I've tried the high end and the low end and always ended up coming back to Revlon products.  They are always reliable and the color palate changes pretty often according to the trends and the seasons so I never get bored.  There are always good sales on their products and I find that they are pretty generous with coupons in magazines and in the Sunday paper.  I can't complain, I have probably 10-20 bottles of their nail enamel lying around and I...

After visinting the Peta website and discovering that Revlon does NOT test on animals I decided to try their products for my beauty solutions. Given the Fall season I was interested in a darker nail polish.  After a clear base and two layers of color I had bubbles, lots of bubbles.  Try try again, so I do the same thing but with two  t h i n  layers.  This time, no bubbles.  However, my nails looked like I needed additional layers.
Bottom line: this is an average polish as far as thickness of layers.  It is slow to dry, if you are not the patient type you may need practice or end up with...

Of all the inexpensive drugstore/Wal Mart beauty products, Revlon nail polish is the classic old standby for me, and better than SO many of the other brands out there! "Revlon Red" is THE classic red, and "Wine with Everything" is a great fall-winter color that does truly go with most everything. Their hot pinks are great for summer & their gold is my other fave "neutral". They cover with only 2 coats and last (I use NailTek over and under them), & they're thick enough that I can "touch up" a chip here and there and not have to redo an entire manicure constantly, important for me because I work... read full review »

I like this nail polish a lot. The colors are all very pretty and it lasts pretty long without chipping. The only thing I am not crazy about is the price. But you get what you pay for, I guess. Also, the color is very shiny when it dries, which is hard to find in some polishes.

awesome nail polish! Its a little more expensive at $3.50 (I used a $1off coupon though), but its worth it. It stays and doesn't chip and is nice and pigmented.
