I received the revlon ion professional hair dryer as a birthday gift and it is one of the best things I have ever gotten. I have always used a hair dryer for my long curly hair to help straighten it out. With other hair dryers they have done some damage . The heat was to hot and just fries it out. I love the way this revlon ion hair dryer has three different temperature choices. With the cool setting it allows me to avoid any heat damage. I would give this revlon ion five stars. I might also go buy another on in the event that this one goes bad. This is such a great dryer.

I used to have a conair hair dryer, but after it broke I decided to try this one. I really like this ceramic ionic hair dryer! It works well for my very long wavy hair. I really like the diffuser attachment because it curls my hair without the frizz. I really like the fact that it has 1875 watts, so it takes less time to dry my hair. It used to take me like ten to fifteen minutes to dry my hair with the diffuser. Now, takes me about five minutes to dry my hair with the diffuser and about seven minutes when I use the concentrator attachment. I also like the fact that it has a removable stainless steel filter for easy cleaning. It has separate heat and speed switches, three heat and two speed settings. I really like the cold shot button and the fact that it has a lint filter for easy cleaning. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I would reccomend this hair dryer for anyone with long wavy hair.

Warning if you use the ion setting your face will probably break out. It will however dry your hair faster. Effectiveness I love the cold burst to set your hair. Works great after curing or styling your hair. It also gives it a bit of a shine. Drying Time If you set it on the highest setting and use the ion setting it can really dry your hair quickly and i have very long hair. Settings/Features I love the multiple setting for air pressure and temperature. However the ion setting is right where you can knock it on or off without thinking about it. Noise Level It's a hair dryer so it will make noise. You can tell when it is running. Durability It's pretty durable. I've had mine 2 years now. It has a lent filter at the back you can take off and clean so dust doesn't get into the dryer as quick.

I bought this hairdryer about four months ago, and I absolutely love it! I had been using an old Revlon dryer, but it was so noisy and made my hair frizzy, so after some looking I bought this one. It's a great value for the money! I used to take 30 minutes to dry my hair, but now I can do it in 10-15 minutes, a huge asset on early mornings!! I have always left the ion switch on, so I'm not sure if that's what keeps the frizz down, but it works for me. It's not amazingly quiet, but it doesn't wake up the three-year-old in the room next to me. Another thing that I love about it is the diffuser that it comes with. I use it instead of a comb or my fingers, and it does a great job of showing my layers. It also works great if you use it on your roots, both in drying time and adding volume. I totally recommend this dryer!!

Since I have owned several Revlon hair care products over the years, I continued that tradition by purchasing a Revlon Ion Professional Hair Dryer as well. This product will not disappoint. Many hairdryers claim that their ion-reducing feature of their hair dryer will reduce the frizzies and flyaway hair. These products are throwing around terms that do not adequately represent their products. The Revlon Ion Professional Hair Dryer does exactly what its name implies. With its variable high and low speeds, I can control the intensity depending upon how quickly I want to dry my hair. I generally dry my hair with the diffuser attachment while my hair is slightly wet. I apply some hair styling product and dry my hair with my head facing downwards. The volume diffuser does a great job in adding volume to my hair without making my hair static looking like the bride of Frankenstein. So good bye frizzies, hello great hair. Remember not all ion hair dryers are the same.

I recently purchased this hair dryer to replace my Conair with a retractable cord. The Conair was pretty new (about 8 months), but was much bulkier and noisier. Also, my Conair diffuser (sold separately) would not stay in place on the dryer. In contrast, this dryer is wonderful, even though it was the same price! It is very lightweight (ceramic) and has the wonderful ionic technology which really makes a difference in keeping my thick, coarser hair much smoother while drying in about half the time! The dryer has 2 fan setting, 3 heat settings (hot, warm and cool) as well as a cool shot button and an on/off switch for ionic setting. I'm not sure why one wouldn't want to use the ionic setting, though. My only hesitation with this hair dryer is that there is no retractable cord. Instead there is a ring, that the manufacturer suggests hanging your hair dryer on, so as not to damage the cord. I don't have room in my bathroom to do this, so I'm hoping I can keep my cord in good shape to last a while. Otherwise, a great hair dryer!

I LOVE my Revlon 1875 Ionic Ceramic Hair Dryer. It is probably the best dryer I have ever owned (and there have been many!) I have the type of hair where I need to dry it every time I wash it, either to diffuse my waves, or straighten them and this hair dryer does everything that I need. I love that it has three heat functions hot, warm, cool as well as the cool shot button. It also has both high or low setting. You have the ability to turn the ion on or off as well. Using the ion litterally dries my thick hair in half the time. Additionally, it comes with a fantastic diffuser attachment and the attachment that directs the heat (not sure what it's called). It is very light weight which i like as well. It is also inexpensive which is nice. Also, to its credit, I am a frequent hair dryer dropper, so this hair dryer has taken MANY hits and it is still working fabulously. I have no negatives for this hair dryer. All around excellent, long lasting dryer!

I recently purchased this hairdryer. Up until then, I never believed that the type of hairdryer could make a big difference in my hair. I usually purchased either the cheapest model available, or acquired someone else's old hairdryer that they didn't need anymore. However, I had been having a lot of trouble with my hair and decided to make some changes. I bought a new shampoo and conditioner, along with a couple of other products. I finally decided to take a look at hairdryers, as well. I spent quite a bit of time in the store, examining the various models available and their prices. This hairdryer was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. I finally selected it because it seemed to be the best product available, and at a reasonable price. I was also intrigued by the ionic technology. I was pleasantly suprised with the results of this hairdyer, and I now understand that the hairdryer that you use makes a big difference! My hair seemed fuller and thicker than before. This hairdryer allows you to select temperature (hot, warm, cool) as well as high or low. You can also turn the ion switch on or off - I leave it on. I also like the voluminizing diffuser attachment.

This hairdryer is a great buy, especially for the price. I bought this as a replacement for my last one, which was a Conair with a retractable cord.  The Conair was okay, but it was horribly loud, pretty bulky, and didn't have very adjustable controls. This Revlon is great. It's lightweight (for a ceramic dryer), pretty quiet, attractive, and very adjustable. You can adjust the fan speed and heat independently, which is really useful. It also is quite powerful and dries hair very quickly. It comes with the standard straightening/curl attachments for the end, too.  All in all, it's a great product! It's not foldable or compact, but it does a great job with what it's supposed to do - dry hair. The tip does get hot, and I've heard of some people complaining that it gets so hot that the plastic attachments melt. I've never had that problem, but I've never let it run for hours at a time - if you're blasting it hard enough for the plastic to melt, what do you think that's doing to your hair? Maybe it's not hardcore enough for drying for hours straight in a salon, but for everyday hair drying, it's hard to beat. And you certainly can't complain about the price!
