Revlon Colorstay Mineral Powder Makeup Review Summary

Revlon Colorstay Mineral Powder Makeup is very sheer and has an attached brush on the container for fast application. Our reviewers like the sheer results they get with Revlon Colorstay Mineral Powder Makeup and its lasting power. However, it seems this makeup is more suited toward those with normal to oily skin. Our dry skinned reviewers feel that Revlon Colorstay Mineral Powder Makeup enhances and emphasizes their fines lines - a big no no for any makeup. Still, the price is reasonable and, if you want sheer, breathable coverage, this makeup may just be for you. Like mineral makeup? We have hundreds of reviews for you to read and compare.

Revlon Colorstay Mineral Powder Makeup
This is by FAR the best foundation out there!  I'm 25 years old and have tried just about every kind of foundation out there.  I have combination skin, although its more on the oily side.  No matter what I tried, by the end of the day, my face always felt oily...

The Revlon Colorstay mineral makeup is very nice for summer, or any warm climate. The container is nice, the brush clicks open, so it does not get bent bristles. The makeup itself is very blend-able, and comes in a wide variety of shades. It really does last all day, and doesn't begin to feel greasy or itchy. It's a reasonable price and lasts a long time as well.

This product is great. It is a great thing to use in the summertime. It doesnt cake up it doesnt even look like you have any make-up on your face at all. Its very quick and easy to apply. I love it and would deffinately recommend it.

I was quickly running out of my Bare Minerals, and enjoying the idiosyncracies of postpartum skin. So, I'm not comfortable going out without something on my face for that extra polish. CVS was offering a buy-one-get-one-free promotion on all Revlon cosmetics, so I decided to take a chance on the Colorstay Mineral Foundation.

It turned out to be a fantastic decision, one that I will make again when I run out of my current supply. The application is a little bit different than Bare Minerals, in that the brush is housed in the lid. The jar contains a sifter plate. So, all you need to do is extend...

I used to use Revlon colorstay liquid years ago and it wrecked havoc on my acne!!  Slowed healing time and ugh, what a mess.  So when I saw they were releasing a mineral foundation, i was ecstatic!!

Ran right out and bought it.

Unimpressed to say the least...  Talcy; pasty; doesn't last long; makes skin appear dry and shows flaws WORSE than without makeup (whhat?!?!) Reminds me of the old fashioned loose powder sold in the large containers with powder puff...  remember those?

The packaging is a whole 'nother issue...  The brush is STIFF and actually hurts my cheeks and sensitive areas, like...

For years I have bought Bare Escentuals but it is so expensive I thought I would try a different route. CVS had the Revlon Colorstay Mineral Foundation on sale and I had a coupon, so I purchased it. I was very disappointed. First I hate the brush. With Bare Escentuals you load your brush then buff it into the lid and tap off the excess. You aren't able to do that with the design of the brush and jar. There is no way to "lighten the load" on the brush. The make up is very thick on the skin. Very powdery, not natural at all and it was heavy. It actually enchanced tiny wrinkles. Maybe with a better...

Not very happy with this product. As a woman in her early fifties, I have normal skin, and yet I found this product to make my skin feel really dry.  It seemed to seattle in lines on my face, making me look even older.  I would highly suggest not using this product close to ones eyes, where there are lines around the eyes.  I occassionally use this on my cheeks where there is too much redness, and in sun damaged disscolored areas of the face.  When I want full coverage, I prefer a liquid, or whipped foundation.

This stuff works great.  I apply it in the morning and it actually works all day not like some others that I have tried.  It is not heavy feeling nor does it cliog my pores.  Ths price is worth it!!!

Not impressed with the coverage or the brush that comes with it.  It's hard to get out and doesn't cover much.
