I am constantly on the hunt for a good dark brown hair color and have tried many brnads. This was the first time I've tried Revlon Colorist and I really like the dark richness of the color, especially compared to some on the market that leave my roots lighter than the rest and with a bronze tint. This product was darker than some of the other brands I've tried, but it doesn't look black or phony the way some do when they are too dark. It has only been a couple days since I used it so I don't know how it will perform in the long run. It is the only hair dye that I have tried that comes with a dark tinted color glaze/conditioner that you use once a week for the four weeks after coloring, to enhance color and shine. I am excited to see if / how this works because usually I feel like my hair gets dull and faded after a few weeks. I got this on sale and would buy it again for the sale price.
