Revlon ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex for Normal/Dry Skin —
As a portrait photographer I'm always looking for makeup that covers blemishes and evens skin tones, last through the harsh lights of indoor photography and the humidity of an outdoor shoots and lastly works well with my camera. I work with real people. Families, high school students, middle school students, ect. and I find people perform better when they are confident and comfortable with themselves. So them looking and feeling their best is important to me. I've recently seen quite a few people recommend this product, comparing it to the coverage you get from MAC product. I'd seen the ColorStay makeup a few times before but the packaging was bland. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and I'd never seen it advertised so I really thought nothing of it prior to the positive reviews I heard. I was skeptical and a little broke, I had just bought base and powder, it was that Infallible stuff, yikes! cakey! But, I decided to get some and try it on myself. I have problem skin so I figured if it would work for me, it would work for my clients. I was AMAZED! This stuff went on so perfect! The coverage was flawless, I cant see any of my blemishes or blackheads, my pores are invisible, but not clogged! My skin looks so even and the makeup feels weightless and that's with the concealer, base and powder too.Not that you need all of it. I tried and the base works wonderful as a concealer! The best part for me is its not cakey. It doesn't show, even when you get close to my skin, so I look like I have a naturally radiant complexion. I can touch my face and the Revlon ColorStay Makeup doesn't transfer to my fingers or my boyfriends shirt for that matter. YAY! I can hug him again! It lasts so long and it doesn't melt off of my face. Usually by the end of the day I'm dying to get home and wash my makeup off. Last night it lasted so long and felt to wonderful I almost fell asleep with it on! Also, it works VERY well with my camera! I personally feel that for what this product does, the price I paid for it was wonderful. Twelve bucks for perfect skin. Sold! Reva
