This review is for color 685 Natural. I prefer nude looks that appear natural in both color and finish. My berry pigmented lips require a little more effort to tone down prior to nude lipstick application. Through trial and error, I have found lip liners adhere better and last longer than lip concealers. The Revlon ColorStay Lip Liner in 685 Natural is an almost perfect nude liner. The color is a nice paler beige but slightly too peachy to be natural. If there was a touch more pink, it would be perfect. However, the color falls just short of natural but it is still a lovely shade of nude. The formula is on the harder, waxy side so it may require a few extra swipes for color payoff. While I wish it was creamier, the waxiness definitely stops lipstick from bleeding and stays on the lips for hours. It is a perfect base since it sets quickly so it will not alter the color of lipstick. This liner also looks great with just a layer of gloss.
