Revlon ColorStay 12 H won't settle into the creases of your eyes

By

from Indianapolis, IN

Comments about Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eyeshadow, Azure Mist 365:

The Revlon ColorStay 12 hour eyeshadow in azure mist 365 is a great product. I always have problems getting my eyeshadow to stay on throughout the day, and it seems to settle into the creases of my eyes. This eyeshadow will actually stay on your eyes for the whole twelve hours they promise. The shade I selected is azure mist 365, but there are other options. Revlon makes several different shade combinations and each one works well for most skin types. The other nice thing about colorstay is that you get more than one color in the container. You can really expriment and play with the colors. You can even create your own colors by mixing several of them together. The colors are really nice and will make your eyes pop. The only negative I have noticed so far is that it is a little hard to remove at the end of the day. If you are used to the typical eye shadow products that come off very easily, this product might surprise you. You may need to use eye shadow removal liquids or pads to get all of it off of your eyes. But this is well worth it.

Revlon always makes good makeup

Comments about Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eyeshadow, Azure Mist 365:

The Revlon Colorstay 12 hour eyeshadow in Azure Mist is a pretty good product like all of Revlon's makeup tends to be. It comes with a couple of blue shades and a couple of gray shades. I use blue sparingly, and these shades are pretty. The only thing I did not like is they are a little too "frosty" and I like a very matte eyeshadow. I love the Revlon brand, however. Their prices are reasonable and they always have colors and products that are right on trend. I find it hard to resist the Revlon stand in the drugstore, especially when they have some things on sale! The only problem with the "quads" is that I usually end up only using one of the shadows in the quad and the rest go to waste. They should let us mix and match the quad colors some way so we can actually get four colors that we use. I think this color quad would look best on someone with hazel or brown eyes. Also, the shadow stays on pretty well throughout the day.

Stays put, but takes a lot to make an impact

        By

Comments about Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eyeshadow, Azure Mist 365:

I like the Revlon Colorstay line. Their foundation is my everyday face and the eye liner stays put all day long without leaving me looking like a raccoon. Since I like the other products so much, I had high hopes for the eye shadow. Yes, it lasts, but it is really hard to get the look I'm going for since it applies so lightly! I have to go over it multiple times to get any real color payoff, and it always looks sort of muted even with a lot of layers. On the plus side, there is rarely any fallout and the colors are true to the container. It's really smooth and not chalky at all. It's good for a day look, but not intense enough for an evening eye.

I use primer under any eye shadow (Urban Decay Primer Potion), giving an all day stay, and I don't notice that this fades during the day at all. I like blues and grays, but these colors a little on the '80's side. With a blue liner, it does make my blue eyes look bright.
