I spoke at length about Revision Teamine Eye Complex in my Philosophy Dark Shadows Eye Cream review. I had tried the Philosophy cream but quickly went back to the only eye cream that works for me. This one.
The Product
Revision Teamine Eye Complex is a thick, rich cream formulated especially to lighten dark circles under and around the eyes. It is a very good hydrating cream and also helps to keep fine lines and wrinkles from forming. It is sold in one half ounce glass jars for a bit over $50.00. Pricey but very concentrated and, if you suffer from dark circles like I do, well worth the cost.
My Use
My dermatologist recommended this cream to me after I complained about my constant inherited dark circles. She said it was the ONLY cream she knew of (even within the prescription realm) that really worked.
That was all I needed to find and order the cream online.
It is white and thick and very concentrated. There is no scent and it doubles as a hydrating eye cream so you don't need anything but this one even if you have mature or very dry skin.
The results don't show up immediately. It took a month of nightly use before I saw improvement. But once I did see it, I continued to see improvement. My circles aren't gone as you can see from the photo (I have no concealer on in the pic with this review. I can't believe I am exposing myself like that!) but they are manageable now. I wear a good concealer and look human again.
A plus is that this cream also helps my fine lines and dry skin. It's a wonderful cream and one that truly works for dark circles and shadows.
Conclusion
I had raccoon eyes and I still have shadows under my eyes. But, with Revision Teamine Eye Complex, I have far less to be self conscious about and my eye area looks smooth, hydrated, and rested. I use other creams during the day and sometimes layer a super thick mask-like cream at night when I am feeling especially dehydrated but Revision Teamine Eye Complex is really the only eye cream I need.
This won't zap stubborn circles or get rid of them completely but it will lighten the area around your eyes and leave them looking refreshed and mush younger.
5 stars for leaving the circles to the raccoons and lightening up!
