I love samuel l. jackson but this one stunk

a movie buff, waiting for the DVD, watching chick flicks, into action flicks, a comedy fan, watches every movie that comes out

This movie was a little depressing.  Essentially Samuel is a retired boxer and calls himself the champ.  Isn't that a little cocky?  Anyway, he is constantly getting beat up by this group of boys because he is too nice to fight back.  What kind of a boxer gets beat up by ordinary teens?  So, this rundown sportswriter covers his story and it makes it big.  Turns out, the boxer he wrote about is actually dead and Jackson is just impersonating him.  OMG......another 2 hours gone for good and there is nothing I can do about it.  Watch if you have to, but i was disappointed.
