Reston Lloyd Calypso Basics 2.5 Quart Whistling Teakettle Reviews

Recently, my old teakettle bit the dust and I needed a better replacement.  It didn't so much bite the dust as it fell apart in my hands.  My goal was to find an attractive, affordable, sturdy, whistling teakettle in a pretty color.  Preferably blue.  Luckily, I found a pretty good candidate in the Calypso Basics 2.5 Quart Whistling Teakettle by Reston Lloyd.  Time will tell if it holds up to my daily use.  For now, I can report that this whistling kettle is humming right along, although more quietly than I expected.
