Honestly I have a couple of favorate resturants but this is in the top. The ribs are incredible. They have a build your own burger thing also, I guess it's new. The fries, bacon burgers, shotters, mozzarella sticks, and pasta are great! There's more but I don't have them memorized. My husband works there as a cook also so I know first hand that it's clean also. This is a highly reccomendable restaurant!!

Black Cat is tough to beat (though I do love Metropolis' Red Line), and a free shot with a pound of beans is tougher. Intelly, you encourage my bad habit!

I really love the new Tex-Mex cantina in Wicker Park - Big Star. The owners of Avec started Big Star... nice group. Let's just say I went there 3 nights in a row so it must be good. Located across from The Violet Hour on Damen near Milwaukee. Great vibe, greater food and drinks. I'm in love.

The highlights...

- $2 tacos (chicken, fish, pork, veggie)

- Impressive tequila & bourbon list. Plus, a ginger & beer cocktail that I love. Most cocktails are $7.

- On tap: Goose Island's Matilda ($6), Lagunita lager ($4) & Schlitz ($1)

- Super fresh quacamole, handmade tortillas

- Chill atmosphere, friendly...
