I am a full-time RV'er who lives with my husband and cat in our motor home year round. We bought our motor home new and have tried our hardest to keep it in the best condition we could. The living room/dining area and bedroom are the only rooms with carpet. We vowed we were going to have the carpet professionally cleaned every year and did for the first 5-6 years. Then for some reason we slacked off. After spending a fall/winter in south Texas, where the wind rarely quits blowing dust and dirt, our carpet in the living room had become dingy and even had some spots that had that red dirt tint to it. It was around that time that Resolve was advertising their Easy Clean Carpet Cleaning Kit that contained a can of Resolve Carpet Cleaner and a carpet cleaning brush that was specially designed to spray the cleaner on the carpet with a trigger on the handle and a brush to spread and clean the carpet. I decided that since my carpet looked so bad, I would replace the can of regular Resolve that came in the kit with a can of Resolve High Traffic Foam. Well, I would love to say that my carpet came out looking good as new when I was done with all the scrubbing and vacuuming. But I can't. At first glance i was almost convinced it was better, I think it was my my mind telling me it must look better after all the work, but looking at it again I could still see stains and discoloration. I don't recommend this product to anyone who wants to obtain a finished job that actually is cleaned. Hire a professional. You'll be much happier with the results. Performance After spraying, scrubbing and vacuuming I still ended up with the same discoloration that I had at the start of the cleaning job. Scent Probably the only good thing. It is a pleasant clean smelling scent.

There are certain parts of the house that see a lot more foot traffic than others parts; then there are the areas in the game room and livingroom that are littered with spots from fallen food or spilled beverage. The Resolve High traffic Foam is best used as a spot cleaner; you spray it on, give it about ten of fifteen minutes to break up the stain and then vacuum it up. This isn't wet like a typical steam cleaner used for carpeting but you should avoid walking on it for a couple of hours until it is 100% dry. I have used this on soda spills, dropped food, small pet accidents, gunk that's been tracked in from outside and mud. I try to get everyone to wipe their feet when they come in the house (although I prefer them to take their shoes off) but sometimes it's the stuff that's stuck in the sole and tread of the shoe that gets ground into the carpeting. There is a minimal amount of smell to this but nothing that is overpowering; if you are scent-sensitive you should open a window or use a fan to move the air around after you spray this. I have never had any problems with this changing the color of the carpet but there have been times when I have had to use a couple of applications to get tough stains out. if you have something that doesn't come out after one treatment give it a couple of hours then try again but this time use a brush to lightly move the carpeting around. Scent This isn't a scented product but it does have a slight chemical smell to it.

I have used Resolve Foam Stain Removal for years to clean those spots that seem to appear out of nowhere on carpeting. A quick spray, then I let the foam sit for a minute, before I use a soft brush to remove even tough stains. I have never had any problem with this product however as a safe measure I do suggest that if you are using this or any cleaning product for the first that that you use do a "color safe" test in a area that won't show if it is a problem. Performance Resolve is amazing and I use it not on just carpeting in the house but have used it on the upholstery of furniture and it works great on the floor mats and carpeting in the car. We discovered a stain on the floor mat that had been there for awhile and I was amazed that Resolve wiped it out in just a few strokes of my brush. I buy two cans each time as this is one product I don't want to run out of. Scent I am pretty sensitive to scents and while this cleaning problem does have a scent it is not so strong that I find it a problem.

I bought this when I was looking for something to clean up small stains on my daughters carpets from juice spills. I wasn't looking for something to clean my entire carpet, or a very high traffic area, but simply something for small spots to refresh the carpet. This product worked okay, but not the best. It did remove the stains, but it took a lot of scrubbing to get the stain out. I had to wipe it up right after scrubbing or it looked like it would leave a residue behind. I do not think this product would work at all for heavy traffic areas, it just isn't strong enough. I tried to use on a spot where my dog had an accident on the carpet and it did not come out at all. I scrubbed it for awhile as well, but didn't even look like I had tried. This product isn't the best on the market, but it works for very light stains. Scent This product really doesn't have a scent at all and doesn't leave any type of scent.

I am accustomed to having my two dogs and kids getting the carpet in the house dirty from being in the backyard, so I am glad to be able to use Resolve high traffic foam cleaner. This carpet cleaner bottle does a great job at getting rid of dirt and bad dog smells. It also gets rid of food stains like soda pop, greasy stain and so much more. The product is a bit expensive but it does last a long time. Resolve carpet cleaner is also really easy to use. I just spray the bottle all around the carpet, wait a while, I would suggest waiting 30-50 minutes before cleaning off with a cloth like I do. Resolve also have a fresh scent I notice after I am done cleaning my carpets. This product is safe to use on carpets and I have never had any issues cleaning my carpet with it. Resolve is definitely worth buying for me since it leaves my carpets looking and smelling great. Performance Is very effective at getting rid of stains. Scent Has a nice fresh scent to it.

I purchased this carpet cleaner when my floors began needing a little light TLC. With the dog in and out of the back yard and sometimes tracking a little dirt in and people leaving their shoes on when coming inside I needed to find something. I bought the resolve carpet cleaning kit that came with the carpet cleaning foam and a carpet brush. I really liked the kit because the brush allows me to really work the foam into the carpet instead of it just sitting on top of it. The brush is full length too, this is very nice since it means I can work it into the carpet without having to bend over or do it on my knees. It also makes it quicker. I did notice a difference in the appearance of my carpet after a couple uses. We have a neutral colored beige carpet. It appeared to be brighter and newer looking after about three to four uses. I now use this carpet foam cleaner about once a month to keep it looking good and smelling fresh. It is very easy to use and can be vacuumed up after it has set for the designated time.

I have used Resolve for many years and I absolutely love it. Resolve High Traffic Foam can be found in my home at all times. I even have used it on my furniture, it is great on couches and chairs. The first time I used it I was looking for something to bring some stains out of the carpet. After the first time I used it I was hooked, it is the only carpet cleaner I use. Of course I cannot clean my whole room with this but I do use it on the high traffic areas in my home. I love how it foams and releases all the ground in dirt from the carpet and how you don't have to wait days for it to dry. This is a great product and I will continue purchasing and using it as long as they keep making it. Performance I love Resolve High Traffic Foam, if you need something to remove stains I do recommend anyone to give this a try. Scent Resolve High Traffic Foam has a great scent, I love how it leaves my home smelling so wonderful after I use it.

I call this my instant first aid for my carpet because my floors are under attack often, by messy people and pets. Just today, one of my cats made a huge vomit mess a foot in diameter on my throw rug. So, I sprayed this foam on it and it all came up with a vacuuming. I could not ask for better. It makes my whole place smell better if I go over the whole carpet every week with this product when I do the weekly vacuuming job. It removes sour smells I notice building up from daily traffic from people and pets. Performance I spray this on a messy spot on the carpet, and it foams up right away. I let it fizzle for 5 minutes, then vacuum it up. I have found that even if the messy spot was walked on first and pressed into the carpet, this process works without having to be scrubbed. This is appreciated in the effort saved. Scent Clean and fresh. Nothing fancy, although I would enjoy a floral scent. But the result is a clean removal of a bad smell.

Personally, I only use this product for small spot cleaning. I couldn't imagine trying to clean a large spill with this product. Works well for lesser stains. I have cleaned up a darker liquid and it did a pretty good job preventing a stain until I could get our shampooer out which was nice. Performance I've started using this for the interior of my car. This does a great job with smaller spots such as the seats or even the headliner of my car! I have used it for smaller spills on my carpet but prefer my carpet shampooer over this. This dries pretty quickly and doesn't discolor the fabric. One of the things I've noticed is that this doesn't last very long. I feel like I only use this one or two times and then it's empty. Scent I'm not a huge fan of the smell. I don't know if it's because of the foaming or the mixing of the cleaning with whatever stain you're cleaning. This just doesn't put off a very pleasant odor.

ALMOST a perfect 10 in scoring but I have yet to find the perfect 10 in any carpet cleaning product. This is awfully close, though! Performance Having pets and small children, I know all too well how easily a carpet becomes stained or dirty. I have even used this carpet spray on black permanent marker and it came almost completely out. Dog/cat messes stains come up easily with this and even remove scent. The thing I like most about Resolve carpet cleaner is it's a great ''spot cleaner'' before shampooing carpets. Spray dirty spots then shampoo over it and it helps lift the toughest stains. This works a lot like hair mousse. Spray a little bit and it foams up. Leave on carpet for 20 seconds and rub up. It does not need to sit long and the can will go a long way, as a little bit goes a long ways. Scent The scent is not great but it is very mild unlike most cleaning products. It works so quickly that you really only need to smell it for 30 seconds anyhow, but if you are sensitive to smells, this is very mild indeed.
