Finding the right CPAP mask can be a challenge. My first mask was selected for me and while it wasn't too bad, I didn't like the arm support that sat on the forehead.
This nasal mask is different from others in that it doesn't have the traditional 4 point mask system, there is no mask or headgear part that goes up forehead. The mask itself is pretty comfortable and so far leaks have been minimal.
The headgear is part of what makes this mask different. It is easy to get on and off via clasps on either side of the mask. The part of the headgear that attaches to the mask is firm on the outside, yet soft next to the face. Instead of going up the forehead this headgear goes around the back of the head and sits on the crown. To me anyway, it feels less closed in that other masks and headgear.
I would recommend this mask to CPAP users who like to have at least part of the face open during sleep.
