Learn An Important Life Lesson While Having Outrageous Fun!!!

They have a real fire truck (sans engine) that the children get the opportunity to climb all over and try out everything while wearing genuine fire gear sized down to fit them perfectly. Although the bulk of party attendees were 8 and 9 years old boys, I also had 2 six year old girls, a five year old girl and a nearly 2 year old girl. I had a little boy just turned 3. The children all had fun on the truck.
Next, a fireman comes down the pole dressed in gear and explains the masks and other gear that they wear.
After that, Chief Ron has a short video to show them that explains important fire safety skills but is geared to their ages and interests and is really fun. We had the film that was geared to the oder children but even the 3 year old didn't take his eyes off it for a minute. When it ends Chief Ron asks for volunteers to demonstrate what they learned about what to do when their smoke alarm sounds, especially at night when they are asleep. Every child raised their hand and got up and showed it all correctly. Then, he did the same for what they needed to do if their clothes were to catch on fire. Again, the entire group had fun demonstrating what they learned.
The highlight of the party came next - a HUGE blow-up that the kids did races through. It was specially designed for them to practice their fire safety skills, keep low, climbing, stop-drop-roll etc and ended going down a slide. They all did it as many times as time allowed. You couldn't control the fun and laughter in that room. Every child had a wonderful time. I have no idea how those kids could do it as many times as they did - when they were getting their shoes back on and getting on their way to the party room my 15 year old son and I raced each other through it - we were neck and neck until I needed to climb a rope and go over the top to the slide. He has much better climbing skills and was over and down before I made it to the bottom rather out of breath!
The staff is great! They are friendly, really encouraging to the kids, always at the ready so there are no worries of anyone getting hurt or not having fun.
Everything in the entire facility is spotless including the party room which was well lit, sizeable and comfortable.
The party is totally taken care of from supplied invitations to the thank-you notes. Cute party ware for the pizza and cake which are all ordered for you. Goody bags and fire hats complete the occasion which runs for 90 minutes of total fun!
I am known for having fun original children's parties and this one was a huge hit with all the parents who stayed to see the fun as well as the kids!
The party prices compare to many of the other places that I checked that offer fun and sports but this includes life saving skills you can't get anywhere else. And what a better way to learn then by having fun. It is something that will impress the lesson in ways that a lecture, brochure or book simply couldn't do.
