Rescue Me —

This show has been around for 4 seasons and is still going strong. If you have noticed TV the last, probably 5 to 10 years, you'll notice a lot of shows don't make it past 1 or 2 seasons. If your one who doesn't tolerate foul language and some crude/lewd behavior, then this show probably isn't for you. However, if you are into something that is more true-to-life than you should find this show very addicting. I'm also a firefighter so it's nice to see shows that have a realistic quality to it. What I mean is, they don't show this big explosion that you know would never be possible. The effects and whatnot are pretty accurate. Not always the case in todays television. The storyline follows the life of Tommy Gavin (Dennis Leary), a New York Firefighter and his struggle after 9/11. There are some pretty interesting twists and turns along the way that the story takes. Different characters that come into his life, intercations are at times comical. I would expect nothing less but a lot of comic scenes from Dennis Leary. All in all, great story lines, I don't think you will be disappointed. :)
