I've been a Republic Wireless customer for many years and the service itself has gotten alot better. The customer service is still slow because it's online only and most of the time you get a generic response where they didn't even read your problem. They plans are constantly changing and the prices keep going up. It's to the point now where you might as well just go with any other carrier because you aren't going to save money and they have customer service you can talk to. If you don't use any data this would be great for you but if you do, I would look for other options.

Republic used to be cheap enough to justify the coverage issues, software issues, customer service issues, and other limitations, but their prices have gone up quite a bit. They don't offer any advantage over other budget carriers now.
