Pearl Scents

I love all kinds of scents that come from air fresheners and candles. I have air fresheners all over my house especially in the bathrooms and kitchen. I have two Jack Russell Terriers who sleep in my bed- room. When I noticed a doggie smell in my bedroom, I wanted to find an air freshener that would get rid of this smell not just cover it up. I was at Wal-Mart right before Christmas and found the Renuzit Pearl Scents. I just bought one box to try it out in my bedroom.

The Renuzit Pearl Scents are described as "The only odor eliminating continuous action air freshener with the new scented beads. It utilizes the PureClean Technology to neutralize odors in the air from smoke, pets, bathroom, and odor-causing bacteria." These beads will shrink down over time as the product is used. The other day one of the beads fell out of the jar lid because I accidentally turned the jar over. The bead felt wet and had already shrunk down in size. There are six scents to choose from such as the Orchard Garden, Fresh Lavender, Pure Breeze, After the Rain, Apple Cinnamon, and Festive Snow. Just remove the decorative lid, peel back the seal, place the lid back on the jar, and twist tightly to set it up. You don't even have to plug it in.

I have been using the Fresh Lavender Renuzit Pearl Scents for about three weeks now. I no longer have a doggie smell in my bedroom and the room smells like a lavender garden. I would keep this jar up high and out of reach of children and pets. As I said earlier, the pearl beads can came out of the lid slots if the jar is turned over especially when the beads start to shrink. I've read it takes approximately 3-months for all the beads to disappear.

I would recommend the Renuzit Pearl Scents to anyone that loves air fresheners. These air fresheners do cost a little more than other brands. However, I had a coupon that I used to purchase mine. I give it 4 Stars!

My favorite fragrances are lavender and sweet pea. I have to close all our bedroom doors because of the baby and the dogs. I have the lavender Pearl Scents in my bedroom and when I open the door I can smell the lavender smell. It releases just the right amount of fragrance and is not overpowering. Thank you for reading and commenting. =D ~Krista Lynn

Lavender is my favorite smell. These sound nice! I've tried a few other brands that I couldn't even smell after a day so I'm always looking to try new ones.

I've seen the flameless candles in the stores, but I haven't tried them yet! They are a more expensive candle than I usually buy. I'm waiting until I get a coupon or until they put them on SALE to try them. Thank you for reading and sending me a comment. =D ~Krista Lynn

Another great review! Have you tried those new luminair flameless candles? I think they are also made by Glade--no wait, it may be Airwick. They are a little expensive so I've been waiting to see some reviews before I try them. ~Gigi

I'm always amazed with the new products on the market. At first, I thought the Renuzit Pearl Scents were candles. Thank you for reading and commenting. ;-)

Very good to know! I've seen these and wondered how they work. I'll have to pick some up for the bathroom. Thanks!

When I first saw them, I thought they were candles. I don't like the idea of having candles lit when my 17-month boy is running around. I do keep the Pearl Scents on my high dresser so my baby and dogs can't get it. The jar is full of these scented beads and over time they shrink in size and eventually disappear. I just read that it takes approx 3 months for all the beads to disappear. I'm going to update my review. Thank you for reading and commenting! ;-) ~Krista Lynn

Thanks for listing the other scents in your review. Very helpful.

LisaCarey wrote on Jan 12, 2009 at 9:41AM

I really like that they aren't candles or oils. But now I would have to worry or put them up really high so they don't mistake them for candy.

LaurieM wrote on Jan 12, 2009 at 9:18AM

So these aren't candles? They are just beads? I love that idea. I have two kids and don't like to light candles when they are running around. These sound great!

You will love these air fresheners. No, I haven't tried any of the other scents. My mother has the Orchard Garden that she hasn't opened yet. I would like to get the Apple Cinnamon scent. Thanks for reading and sending me a comment. Let me know if you try this product and what you think! You have a great week too! ;-) ~Krista Lynn
