I am in the process of trying to transfer to St. Louis with the VA. Since I am not there to find a house to rent I went online and found Rent Source. I talked with someone there and she stated that they had thousands of houses for rent and that I would need to sign up with a registration fee of $85.00. I specifically asked about pictures because I wanted to see what home I would be calling the landlord about and she replied that they had lots of them. Well, I signed up, paid my $85.00 and got a total of 2 houses and NO pictures. They do not provide the services they are selling. ...

Rent Source--5 semi-relevent listings for $85.

If you're looking for an easy way to get access to humdreds of rental home listings in your area, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO! I've used this service twice and each time been horribly dissapointed and it was useless to me in my search. And it was $85 down the drain which could have helped me with my moving expenses. NOT worth it. They do not provide you what they promise.

Also, sometimes they advertise on sites like Craigslist and Pennysaver with great ads for beautiful 4 bedroom houses in great neighborhoods for $500 a month....those are not real listings. NONE of them appeared on the printed... read full review »

I used Rent Source when I relocated back from Las Vegas this fall and they were very professional. I admit at first I was a little skeptical, but I didn't have much time. They came through big time for me and my family and we now have a beautiful home. Thanks a million Rent Source!
