This "moisturizing" conditioner didn't work for me

2

I really wanted to like this product, but it just didn't work for me at all. The reason that I gave it two stars instead of one is because it's organic and the manufacturers don't test on animals. Also, I liked the unique smell. Other than that, however, this conditioner was a "no go" for me. I bought the My Pretty Hair is Parched moisturizing conditioner to use on my 4a, dry (relaxed at the time) African American hair. I realized pretty soon after applying it that it just wasn't going to work. It felt the way the shampoo (which I did not purchase) would seem to feel. It left my hair stripped feeling and with zero slip. I mean I had to rinse it out and use another conditioner just to be able to halfway get a comb through it. So, for this one I'd say they need to take a look at the formula. I would love to try Renpure Organics in the future, but after they make a few changes. I would not recommend this.

Renpure Organic Conditioner - affordable and not harsh on hair.

4

I have been searching for a conditioner that is sulfate, silicone and paraben free. I switched to the "curly girl" method of staying away from those ingredients, but wanted something that was also affordable. Renpure fits the bill well. While it isn't a deep conditioner, I find it works best for everyday use so I can use a more expensive deep conditioner every once in a while. The bottle's shape and design is appealing, but takes up shelf room since it is short and squat instead of tall and skinny. The bottle holds 13.5 fluid ounces which is less than other bottles. I keep many spare bottles handy. The smell is lightly floral and doesn't give me a headache. Consistency is not too thick, but not too watery. It is easily brushed through the hair to coat every strand. There are no sulfates, parabens, color or dyes, and  it is a color safe formula. Another plus is the ingredients are 100% certified organic and they do not test on animals. It is made in the USA and tested on the family who makes it.

Love organic

4

I have quite dry and damaged hair. I saw this in the drug store with a "try me free" tag. So I figured I'd try it. I am happy that I did. I love the fact that it is organic and not depositing other unknown chemicals into my hair just to dry it out even more. I noticed a difference in a few weeks. My hair was not so dry and crispy feeling. It was still very light though and was able told some beautiful bouncy curls. The smell is great too. And I did also receive my rebate just like the little tag promised. It is a little more pricey than most non salon brand conditioners, but I think it is worth it. I have bought a couple more bottles since trying out the first one and am still very pleased. I have found a new favorite!

Good Conditioner for Organic minded people

3

As with many, my family has been trying to cut down on chemicals and harsh products in our home.  We are also avid animal lovers, and are changing our beauty routines to only use products that are not tested on animals.  I do most of our health and beauty shopping at a national chain drugstore, so I needed to find something that was readily available there, as we live in a small town and do not have easy access to an Organic market. I found Renpure and read the ingredients, as well as the fact that it is not tested on animals, so I decided we would try it.  My eldest daughter and I have very different hair types, but it works as well on her thick, coarse hair as it does my thinner, stringy hair. My hair is very hard to condition, as it gets tangled very easy.  I have found that this conditioner works much better than other organic alternatives I have tried. It conditions my hair and leaves it feeling clean, not at all oily.  My daughter has oily hair, and it also works well for her, although with her thick, wavy hair, she says she wishes it did condition a bit better. I find the packaging attractive, but will admit that I would prefer it be in a more traditional bottle, as the bottles are hard to fit on our corner shower caddy.

Renpure Conditioner leaves my hair soft without weighing it down

Renpure Organic Conditioner is one of my favorite conditioners.  It leaves my hair soft, full, and shiny without weighing it down.  It does not have any sulfates, parabens, or phlalates, making it much healthier than conventional conditioners.  While it is somewhat more expensive than some conditioners, it can frequently be found on sale, making the expense much more reasonable.  For example, I found it on a buy one get one sale last week, and as a result, I bought it along with the shampoo. I am of the opinion, however, that the slightly higher expense is well worth it in exchange for the effectiveness of the product as well as the increased healthfulness it provides. Additionally, Renpure does not test their products on animals, which, along with the lack of sulfates, phlalates, and parabens, I feel suggests that Renpure is a responsible company that cares about the ethics of its production.

With Renpure Organic Conditioner, hair didn't feel conditioned.

Because I have two young children in daycare, I try to watch the sale ads for things that I might be able to interchange and get a really good buy on, like shampoo and conditioner.  A drugstore in my area ran a promotion when these organics were super cheap, AND there was a rebate so I decided to give it a shot.  While the shampoo didn't give much of a lather, it did okay, and I think that I could use it if necessary.  The conditioner however, is not something that I would recommend.  The smell wasn't bad, it just really wasn't there and I like to have something that smells a little yummy on my hair.  The biggest problem with this product is that I didn't feel like it did much conditioning to my hair.  When I let it air dry, it got fairly frizzy, and my hair is mostly straight.  When I needed to blow dry, my hair felt incredibly dry and "crackly" and was difficult to straighten out.  I always assumed that the point of a conditioner was to "condition" your hair and keep it from getting stringy by reapiring it somewhat or prtecting it.  That did not happen with this product, and I used it for over a month.  I would not recommend this.

Renpure Organic Conditioner is wonderfully moisturizing.

Finding a good organic conditioner for hair is difficult! Especially one that doesn't cost you an arm an leg. I'll admit that Renpure is more pricey than other drugstore conditioners, but I think it's worth the price. This conditioner has worked wonders on my dry, brittle hair.  I wont exaggerate and say that it has completely turned my hair around into magnificently beautiful and healthy hair, but it has greatly pushed it in that direction. I can definitely see a difference in my hair. It is shinier, healthier and full of body after Renpure.  It even has the added benefit of being without those harsh chemicals that competitors come with. It smells wonderful, the texture is great and it doesn't leave my hair feeling heavy, dull and greasy the way other conditioners do. Its great to use with the shampoo or on its own if you're not using shampoo.  Overall, the conditioner is great, it improves your hair without harsh chemicals and the price isn't too bad either.
