After years of having short hair, I finally let my hair grow out. But after doing so, I now see why I had it short for so long! While browsing through a store, intent on buying a straightener no matter what...I stumbled upon the Remington Wet 2 Straight Straightener.
It had an affordable price tag, and I being a single mother am not one to splurge on fancy hair grooming tools! It seemed easy enough to handle and it advertised that it also will dry your hair, whether damp or wet. There were only 2 left, so I thought it must be a good buy.
I was right! I tried it first AFTER I styled my thick, wavy hair with the blow-dryer, I have to say I was skeptical and a bit scared to do it while my hair was still wet. It straightened my hair with one swipe, and made my hair shiny. After a few dry test runs, I tried it on my towel dryed hair, and it performed wonderfully!
I do have to say, the "sizzle" it makes while steaming your hair may alarm you, as it did myself & my daughter, but it is healthy for your hair. It dries your hair but keeps the moisture within due to it's steam vents. It's great for drying & styling when you're always late....as I am!
