About three years ago my sister-in-law and I were shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond. As is common for her she wanted to buy me something but I really didn't have any specific thing on my mind. So we browsed the aisles. Up and down the bath linens, the comforters, the housewares. Then we got into a section with health and beauty products and I began looking at the flat irons. I didn't really think I needed one because I have naturally board straight hair but I was hearing so much about them that I just wanted to check them out. Linda had gotten the Chi flatiron for herself a few months earlier...
review »This is a review for the Remington Flat Iron Straightener. I really like this product. It has thirty heat settings. One is the absolute lowest, and thirty is the highest. Thirty gets up to like 300 degrees. It's recommended for naturally curly hair. I've had this straightener for about four years now and I use it everyday. It still works just as good as it did when I first got it. You can even straighten your hair while it's wet, the straightener will automatically dry your hair for you. I definitely recommend this product.
Although, one must be careful when using the Remington Flat Iron Straightener....
review »I had been looking for a new flat iron and wanted to get one that would really be quick and easy. My hair is wavy and has a mind of its own. Of course I thought the more expensive ones would work better so I went and bought the generic version of the Chi (which is supposed to be as good......it cost quite a bit). I tried it on my hair (which is coarse) and it did not do a great job. My hair still looked frizzy after several times going over it. So my friend let me try her Remington one that she got for $30.00 at Target. It worked great.....was easy to use, heated up fast and worked...
review »Remington steam wet or dry iron I'm a licensed hairstylist I have been in the beauty business for twenty seven years I do not normally write in about a product but this one leaves the hair not only straight but shiney as well the reason i like this product is no damage to the hair stragithens hair beautifully and can be used on wet or dry hair.Steam keeps the hair from burning and imparts shine as well It conditions the hair as it straightens what more could you ask for.Its not heavy in the hands nor is it hard to hang on too. A very comfortable grip heats up quickly and evenly smooths hair...
review »I have had this iron for about three years now. It has held up great and always always straightens my long hair in 10 minutes or less. I have wavy and curly hair and was skeptical when I bought it. However, it has not let me down. I straighten my hair, and unless the weather is super humid, it will last until the next wash. Usually in the morn I just need to do a touch up which only takes a few minutes. It also heat up to 200 within 5 minutes which is great when you are in a hurry. I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond for under $40. I am sure in the future I will need a new one since I love...
review »I have 4 more flat irons that I purchased this year. I would say this is the one Im sticking too. It creates less splitting ang damage to your hair. The feel of the teflon is better for your hair.
