I felt like I needed to do something to make them whiter and brighter. I tried the whitening strips but didn't like the process at all. At the store, I found Rembrandt plus Peroxide Fresh Mint Toothpaste. This paste was about twice the cost as my regular toothpaste but I figured it would give it a try and see how it worked. As soon as I started brushing with it, the first thing that I noticed was the flavor. The mint taste was nice and smooth and not too overwhelming as some toothpastes can be. However, it also had a bit of medicinal flavor too which was the peroxide, I suspect. As I continued brushing, the pasted foamed up nicely which gave me the feeling that it was really working well. I continued to brush for the appropriate time and then rinsed and spit. As soon as I was done, I took a look and was really pleased with the results. I instantly noticed that my teeth seemed brighter and maybe even a little whiter. The directions did say to give the paste two weeks for maximum results. Over time, results really did improve. This paste truly does whiten teeth. I did notice that my teeth seemed a bit more sensitive to cold when using this paste. I started alternating the paste with my regular paste because of the concerns of sensitivity.

I had heard good things about Rembrandt's toothpaste, so I decided to give it a go. Excited to try it, I opened up the pretty box, grabbed the bottom of the tube, squeezed and .... air. huh. ok. Squeezed again. Still just getting puffs of air. I brought the tube up to eye level, peeked through the opening... and saw just how little toothpaste was actually in the packaging. We were not off to a good start. However, after testing it out, my mouth felt very clean, and it does seem to do a fairly good job at whitening thanks to the peroxide. It doesn't foam perhaps as much as other products, but it still does give you a good tingle regardless. The taste is okay. Not horrible, but like most peroxide-based products, well, that's what it tastes like. Same thing with the Listerine Whitening rinse. Overall though, the taste was pretty mild and afterward, the mint flavor prevailed on the aftertaste. Overall, this really does work pretty well as a whitening option and is certainly a cheaper alternative to more expensive whitening strips. That said, it does not have the other added benefits many other products have. This will only protect you against cavities. You don't get much in the product tube, and it's pretty darn pricy for a 2x+ daily product. I think i'll use it once a day, and alternate with my regular toothpaste to get the most out of it. I'm also not sure how different this one is from say Arm & Hammer stuff or any others that put peroxide in their ingredients. I haven't tried them so I can't comment, but I have to believe there are cheaper alternatives out there with similar results. That's why I've given this a 3-star rating - works well, but not sure if it's ultimately the best choice.

I purchased the Rembrandt plus Peroxide Fresh Mint Toothpaste because of a good deal they were having at Walgreens. This was my fist time using the Rembrandt brand. I normally use Crest or Colgate. I did not enjoy this toothpaste very much. It did not bubble up like the other toothpastes that I am used to. I felt that it did not thoroughly clean my teeth. I did not like the feeling I got after I brushed my teeth. I would add more toothpaste to my toothbrush to re-brush my teeth each time. I did not end up using up the entire tube of the Rembrandt toothpaste. Although this was the only Rembrandt product that I used for my teeth, I decided not to purchase anymore products of this brand. I decided to go back to Crest and have started using Aquafresh toothpaste also. I also would not have purchased this product in the first place if there was no deal to it. It is quite pricey for a toothpaste out in the market.

Rembrandt is a great brand! Once you have given it a try you will never go back to crest or colgate, there is really no comparison. Rembrandt plus peroxide with mint does a MUCH better job of cleaning my mouth gums and tongue AND leaves my mouth feeling and tasting fresher and cleaner for longer. Rembrandt mint with peroxide did the usualy great job, although I really didn't care for the taste, it was almost a peroxide taste, and it left a slight aftertaste in my mouth. However I do think that my teeth were slightly brighter after a couple of weeks of regular use. Yes, Rembrandt products in general are slightly more expensive than other brands, but it is well worth it to me. They also often have coupons available at drug stores. .I will never go back to using a cheap toothpaste, the extra cost is well worth the extra clean mouth, and I am sure my mouth is healthier, and it will save on dentist bills!

So I have bypassed this toothpaste many times because of the high cost compared to the other brands on the shelf.  Always wondering in the back of my mind why it would be so much more?  Well, I can't answer that, but what I can tell you is maybe I'm easily marketed to, but it is my favorite toothpaste.  I don't spend a lot of money on toothpaste, toothbrushes and personal care items.  Because of store sales and coupons, I was able to purchase this for a very low cost and I'm so glad I got to try it.  It tastes much better than other toothpastes I have been using my whole life.  It almost made me feel like I had made a trip to the dentist recently.  I am a nut about my teeth.  I hate going to the dentist for fear I will have a cavity.  I have no fillings at 41 and am a little finatical about how my children brush their teeth and the like.  I hate after tastes and bad breath.  I feel like this toothpaste helps all of those issues.

The Rembrandt plus peroxide fresh mint toothpaste i great. i started using this toothoaste about three weeks ago i love it because its not real thick it bubbles up nicely on your teeth i get a really freash feeling and i use this toothpaste for the teeth whitening i have seem results and i would recommend this toothpaste to all my family and friends it really is well worth the money its the only toothpaste i currently use it comes in alot of different varietys but i love the fact that its a whitening toothpaste drinking coffee and cigerettes can stain your teeth and im really glad we have prooducts available for us so we have some power over how white we keep our teeth i will continue to use this toothpaste its been a real pleasure to use it freshen your breath and makes you feel confident when you are being intimate with someone i give this product a thumbs up i hope rembrandt continues to come out with new ideas i would love to try them

Rembrandt plus peroxide fresh mint toothpaste, is expensive YES. But the quality you get is based on the quality you pay for, what price are you willing to pay for cleaner, whiter teeth?? As an avid coffee drinker and smoker, I suffered from the stains  of both of those products, After brushing with Rembrandt plus peroxide, for about 3 weeks, my teeth were noticeably whiter, my breath was fresher, and i had started receiving compliments about my smile. So take my advice, buy a cheap toothpaste, and you will get cheap results, buy Rembrandt plus peroxide fresh mint toothpaste, and the results you will notice will be as if a work of art.
