This is a good whitening toothpaste for people like me who drink iced tea and diet colas. It gets the surface stains off but doesn't bleach teeth. It even is OK for me to use with my sensitive tooth that screams when I use most other toothpastes.

About Rembrandt Extra Whitening Toothpaste with Citroxain

Citroxain is a combination of an enzyme in the papaya plant that naturally helps clean your teeth and a scientific whitener. The two work together to remove surface stains and get teeth as white as they can be without bleach or other harsh chemicals. I use this toothpaste often and it does, indeed, help me to ward off iced tea and cola stains. I can't stop drinking them although I should, so I try to brush my teeth often and completely with this and other whitening toothpastes. I have found this toothpaste to be the most effective at removing stains and it is gentle. I have a sensitive tooth that really hurts when I use traditional, non-sensitive teeth toothpastes but it seems to like Rembrandt Extra Whitening Toothpaste with Citroxain. I do too. It's minty and refreshing and I like the way my teeth feel after I use it. I also like that they do look whiter and cleaner. I don't like the cost though. It is around $6.50 for three ounces. Ouch. But it's better than a trip to the dentist more than necessary. Yeck. I hate dentists.

If you smoke or drink dark colored liquids a lot, your teeth are getting stained. Even if you just use Rembrandt Extra Whitening Toothpaste with Citroxain once a day or even once every few days to remove surface stains before they become a problem, you will be glad you did. My teeth look whiter and cleaner and my breath is fresh when I use this toothpaste. It's even OK to use on sensitive teeth. Yes, it's more costly than run of the mill toothpastes but it works better. You decide which is more important. I give this 4 stars and recommend it.
