Redken Spray Starch works great

5

I am a professional hair stylist and I use Redken Spray Starch on almost all of my cients. Redken Spray Starch is a heat protecting hair spray that can be used wet or dry. I use it as a heat protectant while round brushing, sprayed near the root it works to add volume and will give an overall flexible hold. Redken Spray Starch is also great for heat protection with a flexible hold when sprayed when curling or flat ironing hair, about two sprays per section. If you need a strong hold, like for an updo or very styled curls, you can spray Redken Spray Starch section by section when curling and your curls will last all night. It stays dry and doesn't feel sticky like some sprays would. The smell isn't anything special but I don't find it offensive or bothersome. Redken Spray Starch is a salon only product but is so versitile that I find it worth the price. Most mall salons carry it and they often have deals.

Can't get your hair to hold a curl? Use Redken's Spray Starch.

My hair usually doesn't hold curl at all. When I curl it, the curls are all but gone in an hour or less. But when I use Redken's Spray Starch, the curls last all day, all night... basically until I wash my hair again. It also says it works with straighteners, and I'm sure it does but I have stick straight hair so I've had no need to test it with a flat iron. The key to this product is to spray it on right before you use your heat styling tool. I always take the section I want to curl, give it a quick spray, comb through, let it dry a bit, then curl. After I'm done curling everything I run a round brush through my hair, and Voila! My hair looks great and stays curled for a long time. One of the best things about this product is that it doesn't make my hair stiff or sticky. My hair feels soft but still holds my curl. It also doesn't leave residue on your styling tools. I used to spray my hair with hairspray while it was on the iron, and it would hold a curl but it would be stiff and my curling iron would get covered in nasty hairspray. This stuff is far superior. Give it a try! I've yet to find a bad Redken product.
