Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide Reviews

This product works well for frizzy, unruly, or color damaged hair. It is best used with heat, like a flat iron. I've tried other products (such as the John Frieda line, dove, pantene, etc) that really weigh down your hair - the Redken product works better and does not weigh it down or feel ickey on your head. This makes your hair shine as if it were healthy and undamaged.  I have naturally curly hair so to straighten it really takes alot of work.  In the past any product that I would use to protect my hair would make my hair feel and look greasy.  Another thing I really love about this Redken...

I was excited to try this product as have used the Smooth Down shampoo and conditioner for years and was happy with the quiality of both. Unless you have coarse, hard to manage or dry hair, I wouldn't recommend this product as its very heavy and left my hair with a heavy residue. Will tame your hair, but even a little goes a long way.
