The Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo is very soft to my hair. It doesn't dry it out at all, and it works using a low lather so it's not removing all the oil from my hair. The shampoo is perfect for the winter, because my hair is already dry enough due to the weather and heating inside my home. When I work out, or during the summer though, this shampoo is not one that I would recommend. I have to compensate for the low lather by adding more shampoo since I end the day with greasy hair, not to mention the fact that it is long. The smell of this shampoo is completely amazing, and the whole range of Redken Fresh Curls smells like this. My husband compliments me every time I use this shampoo on the scent. I wouldn't say that this shampoo does anything special for my curls though. It did not change the texture of my curls in any way, but it did help to control a bit of the frizzing that occurred throughout the day.

I love this very yummy smelling shampoo. It is great for curly hair and reduces the frizz that often comes along with curly hair. It has a nice fresh scent. It doesn't bubble up a lot, but still works great to clean your hair. When this shampoo is gone, I always must go get more!

I first bought this product almost a YEAR ago and I used it every other day (because of my curly hair in this dry climate - it's recommended to only shampoo every other day AT MOST). Anyways I JUST emptied it yesterday - it's lasted that long! Granted, I also had shoulder-length hair and then my hairdresser chopped it all off about 4 months ago, so that does affect things. But still, a little goes a LONG way with this product - you really get your money's worth, I think! Also, this shampoo smells absolutely AMAZING! I love love loved how it smelled. I can't complain about any of its characteristics - my hair wasn't dandruffy, so it didn't dry it out too much. At the same time it wasn't ever oily or flat, so it didn't "over-moisturize", as it were. You can't beat the price for a salon product (which this one is). The Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo is one product I will definitely be buying again.

I love the Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo because I have naturally wavy frizzy hair, but I love to wear my hair curly because it takes such less time getting ready.  Ive tried so many different products to try to acheive the looks the stars have but I always came up short.  Finally I decided I was just going to take the plunge and buy the more expensive products, so I bought the shampoo, conditioner, and the spray gel.  it was amazing, my hair was free from frizz and my waves turned into curls and most of all my hair smells great.  My boyfriend loves when I wear my hair curly now, which works out good for me because it takes wayy less time!  I suggest using the entire product line of Redken if you are going to buy the shampoo, because they work best when they are used together.  Also, the shampoo smells great, like cucumbers!  It is a bit on the pricey side but a few times a year beauty salons will run the liters on sale for very cheap, I suggest buying them then and stocking up!

I tested a sample product of Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo from my salon. I have very coarse, curly hair and need super hydration to keep it manageable and also to keep me happy with my appearance. I really do not find this product very usueful for me. It does not moisturize my hair enough and does not help my styling product work. I will use what I have, but I doubt I will be buying this again.

I must say that i was incredibly disappointed with the Redken Fresh Curls product line. I have extremely curly and frizzy hair. When I say extremely curly, I mean that I have natural ringlets in my hair. My hair looks six inches shorter when it is curly compared to when it is straight. Straightening my hair is a big deal and takes forever however, that is why i am constantly on the lookout for the best option for my extremely curly hair. Thought the Redken Fresh Curls shampoo and conditioner was a bit procey, I decided to give it a go because sometimes I need to spend extra cash to help tame my hair. Unfortunately, the Redken Fresh Curls was not worth the price. It produced results that matched my generic curly shampoo and conditioner brands. My hair was still very frizzy requiring lots of moose to correct it. Thus, it didnt give me what I expected and I would not recommend this product to anyone because of the price.

I cannot understand how Redken Fresh Curls got mostly good reviews.I hated this shampoo.I used it twice and was ready to throw it out.I ended up giving it away.The formula in the bottle I purchased was very week.When I tried to use a normal amount it failed to lather up at all.I had to use a ton and dillute it with water just to get some suds going.The shampoo had no moisturizing benefits at all which is important to have with curly hair.It tangled up my hair and left it dried out.All the extensive brushing I had to do to get the tangles was rough on my hair and tore all my curls out.The lack of moisture in the shampoo and all the brushing made my hair a frizzy mess.I was especially dissapointed in this shampoo since it carries a hefty price tag.
